I have tried them all. This one works best for me. Has all the features you can think of. Syncs with my fitness pal. Syncs between devices. Supports all sensors. Very Happy. *** That was my old review, since then using strava for a bit realised that runtastic is missing many social features leaderboards, friends feeds. You can't even see your friends and their activity. Feels very lonely. But Runtastic still has the best user interface, love that I can switch between different live parameters on the go e.g. speed, cadence, hr, various averages etc. 3 stars for not hsving social features.

Nice app. Very poor customer support. Automated email telling you to check out the (very sparse) help section or raise a ticket to contact customer services. No instructions on how to raise a ticket though. I want to know if the wahoo rpm cadence sensor is compatible. I suspect only speed PLUS cadence sensors are compatible. Literally every other competitor can contect the new widely used magnetless sensors. So stars lost for poor customer service and lack of sensor hardware support. Nice design, map with customisable stats over the top is a real bonus that others are missing, but until they improve compatability with sensors, there are apps just as good and even for free.

The app is great overall.. but I have one issue with this app. Whenever I open this app it automatically changes the distance units from metric(km) to imperial(mi) and that becomes an issue if I forget to change it. The app is good overall but a little improvement is needed in the voice coach and auto resume things. Please help me with the unit change thing.

I do enjoy this app, honestly I do. But something has gone wrong with the information it shows since 8-oct-2017. Every ride I have had since then shows my Max speed as 61.4 km/h. I know this is definitely wrong, as my ride yesterday was just a light trundle where I would not have even hit 40. Pls fix it up

Great app, but be careful with your premium membership. It auto renews, and if you don't pay they won't just suspend your service. They'll let you keep it with an outstanding balance and eventually threaten to go to collections. I had to contact support to get it cancelled, as doing it myself didn't work.

Poor experience with this app. Couldn't log in, either by logging in through Google or setting up an account. The app said I didn't have network connectivity (on both WiFi and mobile data), but I can still submit this review. I checked app permissions and everything relevant was allowed. Cleared app data, cleared cache - still not fixed. I was looking forward to using this app, but left disappointed.

I wanted to get help from Runtastic but can't figure out how to do that. I used to love this app. Bought and used Pro for several years and loved it. Now for some reason the cadence is wildly innacurate. While pedaling at a steady pace the display will fluctuate 20-30 rpm. Bought a new cadence sensor but still same problem. My others apps work fine. Just this one is like this. I would love help fixing this so I can love this app again.

Can't test without creating an account somewhere. Won't work offline. Waste of time. Edit: What a moronic non-response. You're the "toilet scenario". There is no "standard practice", all apps that aren't craptastic can be used without a bunch of assholes leaching data. Especially paid apps.

Didn't manage to download any map at first try, app crashes frequently during download. Also, on the downloaded opencycle map, there's an annoying watermark "API key required".

It's an awesome one. Makes you wanna just keep riding. Without pro it still works great, but upgrading to pro is so worth it also. Plus you can never beat a one fee of 5 whole dollars.

With new version whatever we do we can't use mi band heart rate tracking. It must be a push towards using runtastics own trackers. Well I paid for this app when I was able to use my own tracker and since I paid for it I want to be able to use any tracker I want. You don't have "support" it but you shouldn't actively block it. It is not ethical. Now I have to use some other app alongside mi's app to track my heart rate. Instead of the one I paid for. And before suggesting it, I have ticket for it already.

I have this app for several years and it is great. I use a Panobike Speed and Cadence sensor and a heart rate sensor. I use now a Xiaomi Mi Max 2 and the app is unable to connect to the Panobike. I tried with other apps and they do work. Pls. fix this.

I love this app. Gives you accurate reading of your workout and plus extra details as dehydration, level of elevation gain or loss both in number and as well as in pie chart diagram. I love cycling daily and was thinking of buying an accelerometer for my cycle but it was costly then I found out about this app and after using it for the last two months I am in love with it. It saves your routes, gives you a statistical feedback of your workout on daily basis as well as on monthly overview so that you could easily keep track. It also allows you to click and upload a picture from your workout or the route taken

Good but distance is in miles. You can set to km but it defaults to miles after each use. Really annoying!!!! If you forget to set every time you use it you get some history in miles and some in kms. Suggest you use something else.

Been using this app for years and love it! The one feature i would like to see added is the ability to announce AVERAGE pace and speed at the selected interval. Current pace and speed are less meaningful to me at any specific moment in time.

Update 7/14/2017:. Latest version broke the ant plus support on my z2. this is now completely useless. Update 3/1/2017: got the polar h7 ble heart rate monitor, wont pair with it. Mapmyride pair with it fine. Update 11/6/2016: deducts 1 star for removing a previously working feature: ant+ heart rate support. Original: other cycling app requires you? to sign up for monthly service to give you heat rate stats.... Not here! It has some quirks ( can't plan route; can't find max speed?), but overall solid app

Work perfectly and tracks the activities very accurately. Though one feature is missing, it would be better if we have a widget or shortcut which can start activity with one click directly from desktop right now we need to open the app and start activity.

It is a great and stable app. I like the reports during runs. It would take 5 stars with the following features: Heart rate support for wristbands (eg mi band 2), Cycling goals(eg km per week/month/year) training plans and route navigation. Then it would be the best app. It is nice the runtastic ecosystem but focus should strive also towards cyclists and not only runners!

Abusive permissions (contacts, location, microphone, storage). Also no direct e-mail support, starts automatically in the background after phone startup, when locale changes, and when widget updates, and poor support (useless, unhelpful, unrelated replies).

Thankfully, the app is now running gloriously on Android 7. I love the app and have for over a year. The metrics are accurate. The audio feedback is handy. The reporting is robust. And it runs Google Play Music for me. Recommended.

Works great, keeps up with your mph, distance, elevation gains and losses. Maps out your route with the mile markers shown along the route you rode. Gives avg mph for each mile and a total mph for the whole ride and time it took total with average time it took to ride each mile

Used Map My Ride until I found Runtastic Roadbike. It provides much more flexibility. A configurable dashboard and all of the measurements I could ask for. *************** Have to change my review after asking Runtastic why there is a serious discrepancy for calorie calculation between their two apps - Road Bike and Mountain Bike. I have both Mountain Bike Pro and Road Bike Pro. For the same route, Mtn. Bike shows 5X the amount of calories burned as Road Bike (643 vs 117 calories). Their "Zendesk" said that is because "Our calory (sic) calculation is currently based on an expert formula in order to provide our users with a good approximate number. Currently we are not taking the heart rate into consideration, but we are working on a better solution for the future." My response to that is "Wha??????? How does the 'expert formula' explain 5X the calories burned for one vs. the other?" Their support is very poor and you can't believe calorie count calculations. If they allowed picture posting I could show the unbelievable comparison.

I have been using this app for long time now. Of late it is started giving me some problem. When the app pauses, doesn't restart on its own. It also shows completely wrong route upon completion of activity, the distance measured is also wrong. I'm using it on brand new phone with all the permissions activated. Expecting support from developers.
