Terrible upgrade I can't use it without Wi-fi??? I don't always have data!!! I use wifi 97.5% of the time. I can't even set it up easily and once I did the layout is just terrible 🤢. Even then I have to keep using data to log in🤨 The old one was flawless. It's okay if you add new features but don't fix something that isn't broken. It's really disappointing and not satisfactory at all. The there's the name change😐... why??? just why??? Mpesa App->My OneApp that's a whole mouth full 😑.

Team, while the idea is mindblowing, this was one of the terrible move/upgrade. If you switch sim cards or opt for airplane mode it automatically de-registers. Secondly, hectic to open on the go when you have to make payments or use out of the country, the payment section loads infinitely without moving an inch and when it does, transaction is not completed via sms yet it has deducted on the app! Lastly, its better to smoke test before forcing an update.

This new update is a total mess. It requires you to have a Safaricom SIM card in your phone all the time; you can't even use Wi-Fi if you're outside the country. Safaricom roaming is so expensive, and it makes no sense why I can't use different data to log in other than Safaricom's. If I'm out of data, there's no way to recharge through Safaricom since I can't use the app to buy roaming data. This is so inconvenient and inconsiderate of customers outside Kenya who can't do any transactions.
