no more stretching heroes. some games (RPG) tend to stretch itself to fullscreen despite the screen size. with this app now i can set my own screen for the game to freely stretch. finally, Zenonia 5 on its ideal resolution no more strecthing. though there is bug, can't do no screenshot when the app is on (in use). it says "storage in use." i'm applying Load Profile Nexus 4 (768x1280). device is Asus Zenfone 5 KitKat. edit: screenshot work again when i change resolution to 720x1200. one more thing to report, keyboard stay in resolution size when overscan is applied. is it possible to make the keyboard follow overscan process?
Was tinkering around with another DPI app and i screwed up my phones resolution settings & it would not fix it back. Where other apps also failed, your app however returned my phone back to its old settings. Saved me the cost of buying a new phone. Many thanks.
Thanks. This app made it easy for me to get my purchased copy of Mass Effect Infiltrator to download the obb on my Shield Tablet instead of getting 5002 error. Only needed to get past the 5002 and get the OBB download, set 800x1280@213DPI and the game downloaded OBB. Not needed to play it after the download. Restored normal settings and game runs great @ 1920x1200 on Shield. Silly of EA to block downloads based on screen resolution and DPI. Thank you again.
Ir worked fine weeks ago but now it doesn't work anymore, the app just says "Please enter valid inputs" and I'm using your display options. What's wrong?
Works This is just what I been looking for.I have HTC one n with faulty display the top of the screen doesn't work /digitizer damage/ so I cnt click on many options. I just get my HTC rooted and install this application n and sift the screen bit down n problem solved for free.very appreciated for this brilliant app
Unlike SecondScreen, this app is simpler and let me set my Android TV box resolution to 1366 x 768, the same as my notebook PC. (With SecondScreen, I could get 960, 1024, 1280, 1440, or 1920 widths but not 1366.) On the downside, there does not seem to be a way in this ScreenShift app to delete unwanted profiles that did not work or are irrelevant to my device (all the built-in portrait mode phone profiles). Since my TV box is rooted, I looked around for a config file to manually edit it myself in order to delete these unwanted profiles but so far did not find it. I did not yet try the possibly useful "per app" resolution feature.
Fixed some bugs with per-app profiles in certain devices with Android 5.1.
Added per-app profiles - You can now set automatic resolution switching based on which app you're using at the moment. Find it under 'Per-app Profiles' in the menu.
Please note that you might have to grant root permissions again after the update.
