Why does the widget show other info than the app? Right now, widget is showing 0 degrees Celsius and the app shows a 3 degree difference.

I just wish the seven day view wasn't cut off (and not scrollable) on my LG L22C.
Cathrine Daily
I like Edit: Ok I figured it out. It randomly changes color. To get the moon and stuff you click on the day in the weekly forcast. The widget is still strange. Previous: Not sure how to work it though. How do you change colors? All I get is orange. How do you show the moon and wind information? It's funny and well laid out but feels slightly incomplete. The weekly widget doesn't work for me. It was a weird purple and grey, no icons or anything.
Not compatible with model: LG LEON LTE 5.1.1 Weather is cut off, can't see the whole thing in the widgets.

Who could have thought it... Now I am able to check weather by my phone.

Finally a weekly weather widget worthy of my home screen! I've been using the daily widget on my main screen since the first release. However, I noticed when resizing the new weekly forecast widget, the information disappears and the entire widget turns transparent. Regardless, I would and do recommend this app to anyone.

Hi, Petter! The info for the in-app prediction comes from the Dark Sky API. For various reasons, the info for the widgets comes from OpenWeatherMap. That's why you see different values between the app and the widgets.
In a future paid version, I will be getting the info for both from Dark Sky (which costs money after a number of calls).
Thanks. I just wish the seven day view wasn't cut off (and not scrollable) on my LG L22C.

Hmmm... that's pretty weird! I don't think that it's a problem with OpenWeatherAPI (what I use for the weather data in the widget) since it's been persisting for days. It also works fine here, so maybe it has something to do with your location? Send me an email with your location if possible and I'll get right on it! Salad Dressing Industries December 1, 2015
It's for keeping the current color theme of the app constant instead of it changing with each weather refresh! Its pretty, and the widget is great Widget is causing issues with Nova Launcher though, as of the latest update. It seems it causes the home screen it is on to stutter to the point of a frame or two a second, making actions difficult. As soon as I go a different home screen, open an app, or remove the widget, problem is gone, and I can open a folder/app drawer, move on that home screen without lag.
Salad Dressing Industries September 22, 2015
Hi! I'm using Nova Launcher too on my test devices but I don't get the problem you're describing! Can you please tell me what device and OS version you're using? Thanks!
Incredible beautiful but... While the app is really beautiful I found that input my location freezes it up and the widget goes to Fahrenheit instead of using Celsius even if I configure the app to do so... (Update) OK after last update this app replaced my weather card in Google Now, loving the minimalist look, how stable it is and how cool it looks on my Nexus 5 💪👍 and yes it fixed the widget :)
Salad Dressing Industries July 1, 2015
Thanks for the kind words! The celsius/fahrenheit mix-up should be fixed with the new update, available later tonight! I know that the app kind of freezes when inputting location manually - that's because it does a server request every time a new character is added/removed. I'm thinking of changing this behavior, which should solve your problem. Love the app, but the launcher icon... is the default icon for apps on mine, rather than the beautiful one in the video (my display is one of the lower resolution screens if that helps). Everything else is great!
Salad Dressing Industries September 10, 2015
Thanks for the kind words! I'll fix that in the upcoming update!
Looking / hoping for easter eggs-- especially interested in longpress
In love! I don't mean to sound gay but I love you. Keep kicking ass with this awesome app! Now I have to cross this out from my Christmas wish list.
Salad Dressing Industries February 12, 2015
Awesome, thanks for your support! Fantastically simple If you want in depth weather forecasts with heaps of information like how many rain drops are going to fall between 3 and 4 pm on given day, this app isn't for you. If you just want to know the temperature of the current day, or week, this app is for you. It's really simple, looks great, no ads, and has a touch of humor. Though it makes fun of me for choosing Fahrenheit :(.. Two questions: what does the pin icon next to settings do? And is the app still being updated?
Salad Dressing Industries May 28, 2015
Hey Grant! The pin icon keeps the color theme of the app constant so it does not refresh the app color with every weather refresh! And yes, the app is getting a pretty big refresh pretty soon. I've been really busy on another, much bigger app. Thanks for your interest! MISSING ICON! Do you realise that you dont have app icon in app drawer
Salad Dressing Industries April 4, 2015
That's weird, I have an icon in every device I've used it on! Salad Dressing Industries May 28, 2015
It's coming soon! Thanks! Salad Dressing Industries April 4, 2015
Thanks Omer! Need Widgets Love the Simple and Clean UI, but where is the widget guys? This is Android, we see weather at glance from the widget. LOL, that teasing screen..can't wait till it comes.
Salad Dressing Industries March 25, 2015
Thanks! The widget is almost done - I know I've been saying this for weeks but life gets a bit in the way! :) Pretty soon the screenshots are going to contain a teaser! Beautiful and Simple I absolutely love the design is this app. Totally gorgeous. Since the latest update (3/8/15) the animations and transitions are much faster. Still needs improvement, but it's better! Now it just needs a widget, which the developer said they're working on.
Salad Dressing Industries March 8, 2015
Thanks Callum! I'm working on making the animations faster/more fluid right now! Wait for an update to hit your device in the next couple of days! Almost there The app seems to be well on it's way. The only complaint are the transitions and choppy animations
Salad Dressing Industries March 7, 2015
Thanks! Can you please send me an email with the device you're using and the specific transitions you're having trouble with so I can take a look? Salad Dressing Industries March 7, 2015
Thanks Ahmed! I wouldn't mind paying to see your update descriptions Seriously. They're one of the hugest reasons I enjoy Pocket Casts, and this is another awesome app with awesome descriptions. And it's getting to be quite the mature weather app! Kudos.
Salad Dressing Industries February 24, 2015
Haha, thanks Sharath! Pocketcasts is definitely my inspiration for this silliness in the app description - glad someone noticed! Salad Dressing Industries February 24, 2015
Coming soon! Nice look. But not a ton of functionality. Also, the animation when opening the forecast is a little choppy.
Salad Dressing Industries February 22, 2015
Thanks! More detailed daily forecast (with graphs and everything!) will be coming soon by clicking the relevant day in the Weekly view. Crazy simple, beautiful Straightforward design and extremely accurate.
Salad Dressing Industries February 22, 2015
Thanks Ryan! I can take credit for the design but I can't take credit for the accuracy, it's all data provided by forecast.io. :) Just the right amount of cantaloupes and unicorn glitter. Edit: I forgot the black magic incantations, how forgetful of me. Thanks OP
Salad Dressing Industries February 12, 2015
Don't forget the black magic incantations. Doesn't work without those! Salad Dressing Industries February 12, 2015
Hmm... weird. I can't replicate the issue. Main me with your device configuration and I'll see if I can sort it out! Salad Dressing Industries February 12, 2015
Thanks! Fahrenheit! Thanks for supporting us nonstandard temperature countries.
Salad Dressing Industries February 12, 2015
You non-standard temperature unit using countries are welcome! :) Salad Dressing Industries February 3, 2015
I imagine you're referring to the use of Celsius by default and no way to display the temperature in Fahrenheit! Worry not, it's coming very soon! Beautiful Simple, beautiful, at a glance weather app.
Too much Way too meme for me, not enough widgets, no options for data providers so it's basically useless in Scandinavia.
Salad Dressing Industries January 10, 2016
I understand how you feel but that's what the app is supposed to be, not a comprehensive weather solution like Weather Timeline or similarly awesome apps! Thanks for your comment though. :) Honestly, I absolutely love where this is going! I love the colours, the layout, the design language - it's awesome. The reason it only gets 3 stars is because the animations and navigation. Just none of the animations feels smooth, or natural. Fix that thought, maybe take a few more cues from conventional material design and you've got one fine weather app!
Salad Dressing Industries March 24, 2017
Hi Marcus and thank you so much for your review! To be honest, I don't want to change the navigation style, since I want it to look more poster-y and less like an app with traditional navigation. But the animations could use some work for sure! I'll get on it! Rubbish No real features. *Edit for reply to dev* It literally doesn't tell the weather. Still rubbish.
Salad Dressing Industries May 19, 2016
It quite honestly and literally tells the weather. For proof, see attached screenshots in the Play Store. Also, maybe a doctor. Nice app but needs widget Would like to see material design weather widget to go with this app
Salad Dressing Industries February 25, 2015
Working on it! Salad Dressing Industries February 12, 2015
