iOverlander is a database of places for overlanders and travelers. It includes camping, hotels, restaurants, mechanics, water, propane filling and may other categories. Details are listed for each place, including amenities, photos, date last visited and GPS coordinates. Search our listings or browse on a map!

In addition to finding places, you can add new places, record your trip, and share places with friends or other travelers. All of these features will work offline, except you will not be able to view the map.

There is a ton of useful data available in this app, but it stores nothing locally and you can't save maps either. This means every time you pan around the map or zoom in/out, it has to reload everything from the internet, which doesn't work if you have subpar cell signal which is expected when you're out traveling.

Okay app, has a lot of potential and from my experience this one has the most amount of free camping spots all around the country so we used it a lot on our recent trip with our truck camper. There are some annoying things, e.g. you can't save spots which I missed a lot + when I zoom out and go to a different state the app freezes since it's trying to load to much data.

This is actually a great app, and I need it, because I live in my camper. I have found some unique and interesting places using this app. I find the map function especially useful. Here's the problem: the map keeps freezing or crashing. I've looked for updates numerous times, and haven't seen any. Please fix this! The other problem is that the GPS coordinates often don't work. This app needs updating and fine-tuning.
