A: You can use AirDroid for free under the local area network. When running under a non-local network, the free account has a 200MB/month data limit and cannot use the remote camera. We recommend that you upgrade to premium to enjoy unlimited remote data and unlock all functions and services.

Ratings and reviews

DON'T EDIT CONTACTS WITH THIS APP! I tried organizing my contacts with this on my PC, sometimes it randomly lost connection to the phone, other times, it suggested my edits were ok, when I found that THE CONTACT WAS GONE! Just wanting to edit the name in a contact resulting in losing a lot of numbers! This is by far the worst experience I had with remote control apps for a phone.

Got this app because transfer cable wasn't working. You cannot transfer files in folders and when you select multiple photos to transfer, you need to download them individually one by one on the PC end. If that works fine for you then you might as well just send your pictures on any online chat program that's also on PC and achieve the same thing. Unless you want to fork up cash this app is not worth it.

The app is excellent, and, crucially, simple at what it does. It is free, it is quite simple to set up, and, as soon as it finally is set up, it is a piece of cake to use, but - of course - more manual in operation than 1st party solutions, such as the Apple Ecosystem, or, the Samsung Ecosystem (...with Microsoft as a key partner with Windows...). AirDroid can also display mobile notifications on your computer, when you receive them on your phone - also, clutch... Overall, then, great! 🌟
