A: You can use AirDroid for free under the local area network. When running under a non-local network, the free account has a 200MB/month data limit and cannot use the remote camera. We recommend that you upgrade to premium to enjoy unlimited remote data and unlock all functions and services.

Ratings and reviews

DON'T EDIT CONTACTS WITH THIS APP! I tried organizing my contacts with this on my PC, sometimes it randomly lost connection to the phone, other times, it suggested my edits were ok, when I found that THE CONTACT WAS GONE! Just wanting to edit the name in a contact resulting in losing a lot of numbers! This is by far the worst experience I had with remote control apps for a phone.

Excellent utility app with a variety of features. For me, it's all about the easy ability to transfer files from my Mac to my numerous Android devices. As a premium user, the price is rather steep, considering there's a device quota. I'd suggest removing the quota limit or increasing to five or more. Other than that, no complaints.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the app. I was trying to transfer some files using Xender but had difficulties. But as I remembered AirDroid and switched to it, the files were transferred at a speed that surprised me. I'm going to be using it regularly now in transferring files, small or large.
