* There's a save bug in the update 139. Please try uninstall + install game. Should work. Deletes local scores. Sorry, my bad.

* I redo the whole SAVE system in the next update. All local plays will be lost. Old save system was built 1 year ago and it's too buggy and has one cheat bug. New system will open possibilities for many more good things (like several saves, logs etc).

* Next update has tons of improvements. Here's some PLANNED ones, NOT all will be done:
- balancing
- bug fixes: bear achievement, save, rain sounds and 30+ other
- select (some) starting gear
- difficulty change: CASUAL and AUTHENTIC
- renewed scenario
- map system
- better inventory
- more gear, more locations, more craftables
- progression
- wounds
- and much more
(NOT all above will be done, only some of them)

* Next update will have ads (when start new game, video ad plays). You can toggle off ads by paying (or by using secret code 'THATWASEVIL' if I don't get in-app thing done on time). This is done so that I get money -> money helps me to keep developing the game.

Try survive and travel to safety. Wilderness survival themed simulation where you need to decide how you spend your time and what action is most crucial for you now in order to survive: building a shelter, finding food, water, traveling, collecting firewood...

--- PERMISSION REQUIREMENTS ---
Updates 1 - 109:
This game requires VIBRATE permission that is used in certain in-game events.

Updates 110+:
You can play OFFLINE but newest require INTERNET + NETWORK STATE permissions because:

* Online features: ONLINE ACHIEVEMENTS and ONLINE LEADERBOARDS require internet connection.

* Game design data: Game sends game design related anonymized data such as "caught fish" or "traveled X miles" which help me balance the game. Detailed info on the game website.

* Here's example: game will tell me that "trap X is used by Y% of players". This game does not tell me anything who these players are and I don't know if you played the game or not. I will know what % of players do or don't do. I use this data to balance the game.

--- ALPHA/BETA DEVELOPMENT ---
The game is in alpha development. It's a fancy sounding word for meaning I'm still working on finishing the first scenario and there is Broken Stuff in the game.

Since 130 I call the game BETA. It basically means there's occasionally less broken stuff than earlier.

Apr 27 - Update 139 / Game will require INTERNET + NETWORK PERMISSIONS for online leaderboards + achievements to work. Game submits gameplay data such as "how many fish or hares all players have got in total today" that helps me balance the game. More info at www.thesurvivegame.com

Apr 2 - Update 109 (fixed majority difficulty level issues)

Mar 29, 2016 - Update 95 (difficulty levels, hunting, flashlight, new type of locations, tough low-energy condition, stats, better highscores, resources per location, foraging/wood collecting, new gear, new craftables, and more)

Dec 6, 2015 - Update 63 (creeks less common, typos fixed, fixed issue with traps (stayed forever), collect traps before travel, hydration/stamina/etc bars sync issue fixed)

Pretty Cool I like this game a lot. Only played a short time but so far its very cool. My only complaint is what you get for you do. If i collected wood for an hour I would have enough wood to last me at least 10 hours of fire time. I only get 15 mins if I light with matches or 40 mins if I use my fire tool. How does that even make sense. And if I ate a whole piglet id be full for the good part of a day. I think the reward system could be a little more realistic. Other than that its a very cool game.

So great so far! I'm really excited to see where you guys are going to take this. Already very addicted! It's awesome to find a game that has no in app purchases, please keep that! If you need to add some ads for profit go ahead but please keep the game free. It would be awesome if you could add more detailed scenery for the different locations or maybe illustrate the items you collect. Also another idea would be varied starting situations instead of the same one every time. Keep going! Love it.

Great game. My friend showed me this game and I wouldn't give him his tablet back xD! Got it on mine last night and didn't put it down for a good while. So much fun, and such a good concept. Love the work your doing on this, keep it up. P.s I kinda adore that you put the change log in the games description, was hoping you could put one in game so we don't need Internet to check something if we forgot something.

Worth the download I felt like the developer was on to something with this game. The feel of the game is really unique and the sound effects and music are very good. It's super addicting and challenging. The game play is fine but needs some work. Keeping in mind it's still in beta. It still needs more. More crafting, locations, food sources, water sources, inventory items, and some visual graphics on the world environment as you make your way through to safety (Such as fishing and hunting). Overall this game is challenging

Definitly a good game, and can be a great game I'm not sure how this works, but I traveled, and more and more until I got to a creek and had 2 other choices for a creek that were 3 miles from safety, and one 4-5 miles. Went to all 3 , and I never had a choice to go to a "safety " until I noticed on one Creek after I traveled to it, it said I was 1 mile away.... i didn't know what to do from there I tried to travel to a place even further, and all of a sudden I survived.... makes no sense. Something wrong here..., love the game though

Still great! I like the new ways to build shelters and I love the cool little camp spots already made. But I wish hunting for food was a bit easier. You should have a thing to show you what type of animals are in the area. Hunting rabbits all the way up to deer. Traps had been hard to use lately. Crating clothing would be a cool alternative way to stay warm. So far I'm loving it and thx for reading

Still love it This is the second time I have downloaded this game it is just the game type I like a survival game that if you do one thing another thing will happen. Also you balance survival and realistic property's like if you in the mountains you can't find a lake. This game is truly a work of art and the creator must be a genius to be able to make such a game I totally recommend this game to anyone who likes a realistic game and is curious about nature. And I am not being silly this game is great.

Awesome... But... This game is really fun. Involves allot of reading at first but once you are in a groove, you are just clicking away. It's very challenging and would have 4 stars, but the crafting page is not very responsive to scrolling my it's as if I'm not even touching my phone. The easy setting is quite difficult so more pack storage or higher chances of scoring food or making fire would help allot. This game is great otherwise.

So fun! This game is great! So much fun and different than I expected. I like that instead of having to walk your character around to different things, you just click what you want done and pay attention to the time, energy, and stamina that'll take. It adds a new element to the game that I think makes it that much harder. Love it so much and excited to watch it grow as new concepts are added.

Great game, except.. Loved the game, had me hooked for hours. The only problen is the interface for the bag (storage) which is quite difficult to see what you have and don't have at a glance. It would make it much easier to use if they had categories like food, equipment, materials and etc. It would also make it easier to find what you need quickly

Great game! Please update I really enjoyed this game, playing extreme mode is very exciting. I think hunting animal drain too much energy and the possibility to hunt them down is little bit too low. Whereas fishing is very easy. I have done almost everything and dont have any objective to do now, so please update asap hehe.

Awesome game! My only question... Is it possible to beat brutal? I have traveled more than 300 miles, and I would assume the character would've found a way out by now lol. Anyways, as a recommendation, you could maybe incorporate different environments, like Tundra or Desert. Rain Forest might be fun. Grasslands would be difficult, but fun. Mountain could strain stamina. Again, just a suggestion. I love the game! Keep up the amazing work!

Nice Game First things first: when I hit the back key, you should not exit the game. Instead just use it like your back button. The game is really nice an kept me playing all the level through. The idea is great. Graphics are nice. Hoping new levels are coming?!Health-Bar would be great. Extreme mode is really difficult, I was wondering if it is even possible:)

Awesome Game! I survived at My 5th Atempt and I Got to Night 13 on My First! My key is to Stay at Creeks UnTill everything is maxed and I have extra food and I sleep when my stamina is down even if your still maxed Stay At creeks and Insure your maxed! DO UPDATES!! Do an Update maybe about Raiders can attack you? Wild Animals can Attack you? You can have a Hunting Riffle? And Please make finding an animal easier! Love This Game!

Great game, addicting, but limited I love the concept, then game play layout, and the audio does add to the feel of isolation. My biggest gripe is how limited the play is. You only travel to a few destinations, and it's either rain or sun. It would be nice to see different season challenges, different environments (like mountains, abandoned farms, etc). This game could upscale to a post Holocaust survival game with the same style of controls and layout. Would love to see if the developer goes further! I would buy!

8+/10 Really enjoy the game, with the aspects of planning ahead and balancing out your energy, resting and hydration and body warmth levels. However I noticed its possible to survive without any food, by resting and hydrating repeatedly? Maybe fibre or carbs or just hunger could be a new addition to the game? Hopefully some more content (story line, chance events) gets added down the line but otherwise great game! P.S. Don't eat the unknown berries bro. Just don't.

Awesome and unique! Juuso, this game is the only game in the ENTIRE Google PlayStore. I might be wrong but I did search over 300+ games under Simulation and couldn't find one with has standards to your creation. You and your team are AWESOME! I....personally, liked the game much more before the new updates. 'cause of the infinite food supply and no penalty when I lack heat, water, energy or stamina BUT...the new update keeps the game real and keeps the gamer on the edge. Keep it up!

Wow Challenging yet very fun and addicting. love so much no ads don't have to pay for anything. But I think the inventory should have a food section and tool section and materials section so everythings easier and quicker to get to.PLEASE UPDATE p.s anyone reading this download right now you will be glad you did. The developer actually cares about the game an the people playing unlike most developers who only care about money. Addicting survival game In Survive, you'll have to make your way into safety. While in the forest, you'll need to build shelters, make fires, find food and water, craft items, etc. It is addicting: you'll want to play "just a last day" multiple times in a row. The developper also seems invested in the game, which is amazing for a free game. Stop reading reviews and try it for yourself... You won't regret it!

At first I did not expect much out of this game, an hour after I started though, I was really into it, the game forces you to be on your toes at all times, giving you decisions that may affect how you play & how it can affect you afterwards. It is a game that focuses mostly on resource management and what you do with the few resources you have, for example you may have wood but you will have to decide on either using it for fire or for attaining food. This truly is a great game to kill time and I recommend it.

Great text based adventure! Love the new updates, nicely done! My 6yo son loves this game too, now he's playing survival games with his Lego! Is extreme difficulty possible to complete? I managed 146 miles. Can't wait for more scenarios.

Great idea I really enjoyed playing this. As others have said before me this has a lot of potential. The one thing you got right though is the balancing of the game. The way how meat goes off over night (the stuff you get in supermarkets can be weeks old!) Is necessary for the game play. Yes, it would be nice to see a sequel that is more realistic, but getting this balanced would be a lot more work.

Great game but... This is a great game, it is fun, addicting and challenging. But there is 1 major problem, when I save and restart the game, the save is gone for no reason. I have tried this multiple times. Also for some reason it won't connect to my Google account. I have also tried this multiple times. I'm not complaining too much because it is still in beta. I made this comment with the latest version of the game(at the time I made this review): Beta 139. Please fix this soon. For now I have to beat it in one sitting every time. It's OK though. If you fix this, then it is a five star. I have also encountered no other bugs.

Like if your not traveling but recovering at the lake or somthing? Also it would really cool if you could choose different biomes, like mountains or beach.

Great time killer I could play for hours, it is so fun. It feels so real, like that moment when you realize you are on 3% hydration and no source of water, you just get that sick feeling, just like you would when being dehydrated in real life. And trust me, I have been dehydrated before. Absolutely best game ever!

Nice but there are some strange bugs? Love the game. Cannot say that enough. However, as others have posted, why do you loose about 1/2 of your energy if you sleep or rest? That makes no sense. Also, cannot kill anything if hunting, EVER! Please fix that. Otherwise, i've no complaints. Thank you very much. ☺

I love the way this game has developed and the future updates sound exciting. This is a captivating, and challenging game with a simple concept. The creatora of the game are obviously creative individuals with a passion for game making. You can see it in the work they've put into the game.

Great game Really enjoy the game, id like to see a wider vatiety of endings to hunting scenarios, chased off by wolves or fall down a ditch, maybe give us the chance to choose a direction at intervals in the chase or a choice between climbing a rock face or skirting around the edges. Id happily say if their was a bit more variety in the monologue id pay for this game. Good game mate well done. Also tried to get onto your site but couldnt get on at all. Dont know if anyone else has had any issues.

Love this game It's fun, it's addictive, it's challenging but it still has a few bugs. Sometimes I'll cook like 4x pieces of meat but only 2 show in my inventory. You can fish and forage and set traps for food but you can't hunt. For whatever reason I've never caught an animal by hunting. Can't wait for them to update it, but I can't stop playing either way

Charges you Brain Cells. A Delight for Wanna-Be 'Wilderness Survivors' Even when i'm not playing, i am thinking of better ways to survive in this game. Its quite close to Real Life conditions. Its challenging and fun and makes you somewhat prepared for similar adventures. Kool wOrk guyz ^^)

Well done! Won the game - 6 days normal, 13 days hard after quite a few tries. Brutal is unwinable. Sort of like a balancing act. Tip: Creeks & lakes the best, unless you can get water puddles. Set traps, hunting perhaps with hunting tower but I did not try, else I always failed.

Such a cool idea! This game is fun! Its easy to learn the gameplay. You have to overcome the challenges of surviving. Its somewhat challenging but that's what I like about it. First time I died of hypothermia. Then made it to safety after 30days lol. A "psr" rating would be cool tho! Like on naked and afraid ☺

More energy plz I'm playing on normal, a few days in, and suddenly I'm out of energy. I sleep, and gain next to nothing. I know sleep won't give you energy like food would, but at least increase the amount. I keep losing because I can't forage or get water due to lack of energy ON NORMAL!!!! Plz fix. Luvs yah. Loving it so far I intended to just try it for a few to see if it was worth keeping and then *poof* over an hour had passed. Great game and it's surprisingly engaging. While some tasks can be frustrating, they're rightfully so and actually make me want to keep trying til I get it right. Good stuff.

Perfect pass time It's fun, thrilling and stratigic plus the knowledge that you can get in it(perfect for camping in the woods!!) It was just perfect! Just the hunting situation where somehow a bear or boar would apear and end up wasting your time with it.but please i know that in the next update you'll fix it!

Amazing Survived many times, but found a spot where I get plenty of good so I'm staying here to see how long I keep getting food before having to move on. So far I'm in one spot for 19days. Wish they would come out with more games. And maybe more room to carry things.
