Sandbox is for politically curious people who want to find out what they are missing. It’s the place for productive, structured, political conversations.
It’s a space for productive, structured political conversation between people who agree on some things and see others differently. No audience. No trolls. Just one-on-one discussions that give you the chance to share your opinions and understand someone else’s.
Every Sunday, you’ll answer a short survey on a different political topic — something current, interesting, and worth thinking through. Based on your responses, Sandbox matches you with someone whose opinions overlap with yours in some places, and challenges you in others. The two of you then have a guided conversation throughout the week, using curated prompts to help you explain your views and respond to theirs. It’s not a debate, it’s about slowing down and understanding where someone else is coming from.
Unlike social media, you can have thoughtful political discussions
Here’s what makes Sandbox different:
- Private, one-on-one conversations on news & politics — structured and troll-free
- A chance to discuss political topics with someone outside your usual circle
- Curated prompts that focus on political ideas, not personal attacks
- A way to sharpen your own thinking while hearing real people’s opinions
- A more productive alternative to most political news apps or online forums
- A chance to learn other perspectives and respectfully discuss politics
- Grounded, respectful civil discourse built around curiosity, not conflict
You don’t have to agree. You don’t have to change anyone’s mind. You just have to be willing to show up and chat about politics with someone who sees the world a little differently.
Whether you’re a political expert or just trying to make sense of it all — Sandbox gives you a better way to talk about it.
