Update 20241106 - this was great until about Sept 2024 when a new SW update suddenly makes it so that if my Android phone is connected to my internal network (where the Savant system resides) it can not connect to the host. However, if I disconnect from the internal network and use my mobile network: It works. It is really annoying that I cannot connect to my home wifi and use Savant. Before the Sept 2024 update, I had no issues. My iPad version continues to work on the internal network.

what a piece of junk. can't do anything, feels like I'm stuck in the early 2000s. luckily it's not an expensive system... oh wait... 😭 impossible to get support from savant. installers are prohibitively expensive and all just want to rip.oit the old job so they can start again (understandable given how complicated things need to be for savant to do basic things)

This system seems to be all about visual aesthetics rather than functionality, usability or quality control. I had both of my remotes develop bulging batteries and one of the two replacements also suffer from the same problem. The remotes in general have very poor user interfaces and customization. Suffer from poor battery life and unlike say Logitech remotes, you have no way of trouble shooting issues for yourself as you're completely dependant on the certified dealers so you wait and wait.
