I like SavingStar. However, better coupon apps are out there. This only allows for larger purchases. I'm a single living on my own. I don't buy enough to get the good deals.
Absolutely love it.. I've used this app for approximately 6 months and earn well over $80. It might not sound like a lot, but this pays for my coffee while I shop. I buy things only if I need or use them, so in other words I make money buying items I regurlarly buy. Yes, it takes an extra 5 minutes to do, but well worth it.
The savings are nice but for a 2 person family some of the purchase requirements just to nab the saving are quite extensive. I don't buy that much bulk quantities as my storage is limited and things expire or spoil before we could consume all of them. Customer service has been great. Not much variety for saving offers.
App is easy to use. I can usually find a few offers to redeem every month and save money on things I would buy anyway. I send my money to PayPal, and it's nice that you only need $5.00 to cash out. I've only redeemed a couple one or many offers, but it would be great for larger families. Love to save $$$!
I really have such a hard time with receipt submissions and timely responses. I dislike the fact that I am unable to view receipts after they have been submitted. I constantly receive a generic denial about submitted receipts. I am a member of several rebate apps and it's really not such a hassle. I should hv completed several rebates recently but continue to not receive acceptance. I want my money. They really should add a way to view submitted receipts so that we can see if they are blurry.
Used to be great, but lately it has been going downhill. I used to find all kinds of rebates for products that I either already used or would like to try. I especially appreciated the "One or Many" offers for items like toilet paper, certain foods, and paper products. Lately however most of it is stuff I'm really not interested in even trying. Now with the change in the "Healthy Offer" option, it's become even less useful. If you don't offer products I want to buy, how am I to qualify for the "Healthy Offer?" Why have the offers become so limited? I still find a rebate here and there that is useful, but it's not the app it once was.
