Getting started

You’ll need some data to download the app for the first time, but data charges no longer apply when using the SA app itself. If you have a connection, you can do your banking!

Transactional features are available to Standard Bank accounts held in South Africa, Ghana, Uganda, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Tanzania, Lesotho, Malawi, Swaziland and Namibia. Keep in mind that some types of payments include transaction fees.

Tried this app on 3 different devices and it hasn't worked, yep that's over 3 years. The app usually crashes and is basically useless, it doesn't do what it's supposed to do. What's annoying is that it's supposed to save time but you eventually have to give up and go to the branch, where you might wait another hour and a half (unplanned for) just to be assisted

The only issue after updating the app is being required to re-selecting a default card for the Tap & Pay option because it's quite an inconvenience because its easier said than done. Tried resetting then choosing the default card but still, a message that reads "Choose your default payment card" is displayed. Please resolve this issue. Overall, I'm happy with Standard Bank services

The app was great until june this year. I have failed to use this app since I updated it in early June. The logging in process takes forever & I can not carry out any transaction once I sign in. I tried online banking & I still can't log in because it wants to link my online login details with the app login details. Better rectify this issue as soon as possible, 2 months is a very long time for an international bank.

A small update this time! Here's what's new:

Access working capital and financing for income-producing assets or for business expansion. Repay 15% of your Business Revolving Loan and you can access it again without reapplying, with personalised interest rates over a period of 60 months to pay
