Shares Finder is a simple analog of Windows "My network places". Also, it can be used as SMB client.
Features:
- easy in use;
- fast scan;
- shows maximum network information with one click;
- provides downloading and uploading of files and folders;
- flexible scanner customization;
- tests if anonymous access to resource is available;
- determines and shows services vendor and version;
- shows DNS and NetBIOS names;
- shows hardware address(MAC) and wlan adapter vendor of remote devices.

Smb doesn't work It does find my NAS drive, which a lot don't, but it only find the ftp andWeb interfaces. I can see on the NAS interface that SMB is enabled and all of my Windows machines can connect to the device. I can ftp to the device but it beats me why SMB doesn't work

Actually works !!! Has a habit of shoving .free dating. App in your face BUT actually let's you connect to windows share and Tx files (unlike dozens of other apps with similar descriptions that won't or can't do the job) NB to force it into 'seeing' your server, restrict it's scan address to that IP only and it will offer you chance to enter Windows user name and password

Was working excellent before I update my Mac to Mavericks. Now SMB is broken. It's definitely not on the OSX side, because Mac can connect to Windows machines. Please investigate and fix.

Excellent App Meets My Needs & Criteria This is a great app and provides me with the information I need. I find interesting that with all the trash out there - free or otherwise - here is an app you can try out for free and even have the option of blocking the add for a month; and yet after some people give it a poor rating because the find something else they like better this one is no longer any good. It doesn't matter how another app performs. This one is very good and liking another because it's free doesn't make this one flawed.

Was excellent prior to Lollipop Very responsive and does a fine job of locating all of my local area network resources on pre-android 5x devices. - Works great again in Marshmallow 6x.

Bad login/password Though those (login/pass) are absolutely correct, the app stopped to open shared folders on a PC.

Have used this for two years This is an excellent app. Shows details of found shares and allows connection. Works without a hitch.
One that actually works Picks up all Windows computers on the network. Unfortunately, looking at shared files isn't as easy as a computer-to-computer fashion. It requires username/password for every connection, even public ones. Makes it hard to guess some.
Found my Windows 8 box, quick! I tried three other apps before this one. They either wouldn't let me connect or wouldn't display my shares. This one worked perfectly. Nice (and free) application - thanks!
Awesome job Would be great if you could export the list via xml or txt. Otherwise a very useful all I one scanner.
Works great Also allows you to see if there's any unwanted guests on your network
Awesome utility I use this utility to browse to shares on my WD Live Hub in then to upload files directly to this and to download directly through that cheer awesome application I will give it 5 stars no problem
Adverts claim I have viruses. Really awful adverts claiming I have viruses on my android. I don't!! 😠
Awesome Exactly what i needed! It can scan shares on a particular network! My hostel lan got masked because of my personal router , now i can search all the shares on the hostel lan! Great app
Actually works only app I've found so far that actually lets you browse windows network shared folders/drives.
Permissions... excellent! An app with appropriate permissions, what a concept! Thank you. Folks, you'll want to check the configuration options first. ;-)
Epic app! I have been looking for an app that would easily show customers how vulnerable they could be, great job!!
esxplorer does more free this app dum ..but can DO SO MUCH MOTE for Free if need be.
just what i need this finds all smb clients and servers on your entire network
Used to love it Now it asks for a username and password for everything I try to open. No password has been set
It's awesome application, it can view web,ftp or http protocols Try it. But it has ads
Yes Finally, a simple app that does one thing well and nothing else.
Excellent tool Super for finding network shares. Scaning of connected devices with OS indication. Does what it's designed for.
Good App Can check the computers, smartphones, NAS present in my home network with this application.
Great Does exactly what you need. Time saver. Rating is the least I can do :)
