Ratings and reviews

Mediocre at the moment. Notifications work fine for me. I like the ability to monitor trophies and download game captures / screenshots. It's also handy to monitor my PS5's storage and library. The app stutters a lot when browsing the store, to the point where it becomes unusable. PlayStation needs to also work on removing all the shovelware from the store - there's an insane amount of questionable 'games' that really bog down the store experience.

The idea of the app and what it's supposed to do is great. However, the app itself is awful. I often use the messaging feature, which is a great idea as you can contact friends whilst away from the console, while at work etc, but after typing about 10-12 words in the app it then freezes and crashes the app in most cases. Searching for games on the store often doesn't work, and the app is just slow and clunky to use. Sony should sort this out, as it is an excellent idea, just poorly executed.

Slow and unoptimized, cannot use and cannot download screenshots. App is very very slow, tested on pixel 7, pixel 3XL and pixel 1. The device starts slowing down intensively when loading many images or components. If you try to scroll through games to purchase or screenshots to download it takes forever. All other apps scroll and work fine. Right now I simply cannot use the app at all.
