About this app

For parents/guardians and students, the easy-to-use app allows users to quickly review any broadcast sent from the SchoolMessenger service (Phone/Email/SMS) in one place, manage your communication preferences and, optionally, Chat with teachers** or report absences.** Requires WIFI or data plan for internet access. Requires SchoolMessenger Communicate service subscription by the school or district.

SchoolMessenger Home is used for receiving SchoolMessenger Communicate messages sent by district or school personnel.

Always crashing, so annoying. I don't know why the school board is using this useless app when a lot of parents cannot even report their children's absence or late, I still end up calling the school. There is no option to delete multiple messages, I have to do it one at a time which is very tedious. I always get a notification from my phone that the app 'not working properly'.

crashes all the time. click on it to open the app and it just closes it on its own. have to uninstall and reinstall literally every single week! it's completely useless

This is a terrible app! When this was being rolled out to the DSBONE board, it sounded great. If my child is late for a class, the only option I have is to indicate it's for a full day! No option to indicate a specific period or provide a reason. Also, the absence reason in reporting ahead of time needs to be expanded. Example: medical appointment, out of town appointment. Please fix this as right now it only serves to notify me and does not allow for any useful reporting.
