No longer will participants have to cling to delegate handbooks and maps of LUMS. No longer will they have to queue at HR desks to get updated on the latest happenings at PsiFi. No longer will they have to read their way through rulebooks in order to make sense of what they are to do next. It's all here in one smartphone application. Everything. Powerful, yet so very simple in design - it's almost too good to be true.
What is PsiFi, you ask? Only the largest (and first) Science Olympiad in Pakistan.
They say great minds are concerned with the extraordinary. Not really, no. It's the ordinary ideas that have an impact big enough to revolutionize the status quo. One such ordinary idea was perceived 4 years ago with a simple incentive- for all the thinkers to be brought together on a common platform. For all the intellect that was going unexercised. For all the ideas being discarded, unapplied. For all the learning which made no difference. Something had to be done. For the love of science. The end result was one of the largest academic events in Pakistan: PsiFi.
Held over a span of 4 days, with competitions ranging from coding competitions to constructing circuits and designing robots, it invites all those who have ideas others have classified as crazy, ambitions laughed upon as impossible and skills that are- how else do we put it- mindblowing. It’s the participants that make PsiFi what it is. This year, yet again, the team is going to work its hardest to make this event a memorable experience for you. Are the competitions going to challenge you in ways you thought impossible? We promise. Is it going to be crazy fun? You bet.
