Riding a Scooter is convenient in SF, but the Scoot service is very poor. Terrible app functionality and the company appears unwilling to take feedback from regular riders. Scooters are infrequently available. Poor experience across the board.
Before update problem with getting location permissions. After newest update, the app is completely unusable. It crashes everytime shortly upon opening. It used to be a very solid app a couple years ago, what happened?
You won't get customer support services late night!!! So if your planning a nice evening and some issue comes up there's no way to contact support. Very poor customer service!!!! all you will get is " WE ARE SORRY WE MISSED YOUR CALL"
Always fair dealings, like if you have to move a Scoot a couple of feet, they won't charge you. Great support by email.
An app in its early stages with room to grow. Scooters are convenient in the city but parking at the garages can be both mandatory and confusing, making what should be a fun experience very disappointing. The navigation on the app is woefully dysfunctional and the scooters are variable in maintenance. My scooter lacked a phone charger so when my phone died I had to find a local business, call someone, and have them walk to me to log into the app and navigate me to a parkable area. Honestly, just stick with uberpool, it's faster and less likely to screw you over.
Buggiest app on my phone right now. It'll freeze on open constantly or crash randomly
Dusted the cobwebs off, improved location permissions requests, new more modern icon.
Digital wallet to store all the documents issued by the transport department.
