The UI is so slow and outdated. It feels like from 5 years ago. It's not intiutive and takes quite some time to process clicks. Sometimes it's so slow that if I click again it takes me somewhere else. The UI needs to be refreshed from the ground-up and touch ID needs to be added. Also, a bug that I found: When a Scotia card is changed, the username cannot be reused. It's like each username gets stuck with 1 card forever, even if it's stolen/lost/updated. Im pretty sure the app assigns the usernames, and there has to be a way to keep a username, and not tie it to a card.
App is good for giving balance of my account, that's. The app won't let me add card to my mobile wallet and from the looks of thing from the recent update Scotiabank doest plan on fixing this problem anytime soon. Not worth the install
Depositing cheques via picture NEVER works. Very slow. Basically only use it to check balance and send etransfers.
The app is so visually repulsive I would call it heinous. I strongly frown upon the lack of fingerprint sign in. The app is also a bit confusing to use, but not too bad.
I wish the Google version of this application had the same options as iOS. I just switched to Android and would really like to have the fingerprint login. At times I need to access my info quickly and don't have time to type in a password. Please update your app.
Probably one of my least favorite banking apps. The UI is very outdated and not very fluid or intuitive and it still does not have fingerprint unlock when competitors do with Pixel Imprint.
This update includes credit score feature (in partnership with TransUnion) and minor functionality enhancements.
