About this app

Multiple strategies to control your screen time, block apps and websites, and stay focused. Regain your freedom.
Pause before opening apps or websites:
Take a moment before launching a distracting app. The wait time can increase with each use, helping you build intention — a technique also seen in apps like Opal.

Interrupt your scrolling:
Limit your time on distracting apps to short bursts so you don’t get pulled in. If you’ve tried tools like Opal, this approach will feel familiar.

Set usage goals:
Define daily limits per app — and optionally block access when you hit your target.

Customize by day and time:
Flexible settings for different days of the week and hours of the day, tailored per app.

Mindful prompts before opening apps:
Messages like “Is this important?” encourage reflection — a small but powerful habit, also appreciated by users of focus-first apps like Opal.

See only the screen time that matters:
Track your time on distracting apps only. Productive tools like Google Maps won’t distort your stats.

ScreenZen uses Accessibility permissions to block websites.

I was looking for something free to block websites, and this does it - and with no ads! I haven't seen any limit to how many sites yet. I'm on android and use Chrome. An added plus is that it offers an app timer as well, with custom messaging for the blocks and mindful options for unlock. (Breath, etc). The only thing it's missing is a keyword block for web browsing, but for it being free and not having ads, it's definitely 5 star.

I've used this app for a long time successfully but recently it has become very glitchy. Even with my settings set to unlock an app for 7 minutes, it throws up a block screen every minute or two while I'm using an app and exhausts an entire day worth of unlocks in 5 minutes of browsing. Unfortunately there's no way to submit a bug report without doing a screen recording, something that includes a *lot* of personal information.

Great app just one critique, i would love it if you could see a detailed information on progress, such as how many times the apps have been opened, the time limit spent on each one on average and every note that we put in when opening the app during the pause screen. If there is a spot, I couldn't find it. But if that could be added on the progress tab that would be so helpful in keeping track.
