I was excited to try this as an alternative to other services. Unfortunately, every book, author, or series I'm interested in is either unavailable or requires an 'unlock.' The most frustrating part is there is NO way to only search for Unlimited titles when browsing, forcing you to look at listings you can't access once your unlocks are used up. Also, the app refreshes every 10 seconds when scrolling through search results. It's maddening.

I've had this app for years and it has been great, but it's starting to go down hill. I loved that you paid for a subscription and could read as many books as you wanted, and the selection was great! Now the subscription is changing, getting more expensive and introducing exclusivity, AND the app is getting worse. It crashes randomly and when you bring it back up it takes up to a minute or more to start reading again, even if the book is downloaded. I miss Scribd 😔

This went from the best audio book app to the worst with the new subscription plan. It was one price for the whole catalog, and content would come and go just like netflix, right, fair enough. But now you only get a portion of the content with the ability to buy "unlocks", this is the worst decision you could have made for your subscription. We already have audible, and once we spend money on their books, we keep them forever. Thank you for becoming another huge disappointment.
