Great idea, hideous execution. The app switches off randomly, loses titles I'm reading, and is generally a mess. What good is a huge catalogue of audiobooks that won't play? Stick with Audible if you want a service that actually works. *Edit (August 2024) it plays slightly better, but the catalogue is so much worse. NO way to search for unabridged audiobooks? Really? I have 0 interest in listening to the 90 minute version of a 6-hour novel.

I often listen to audiobooks. Lately it has been crashing at least once every time I use it. I can listen for maybe 30 minutes before I receive a 200 error and it stops playing. Sometimes if I open and close the app it will start to play again, other times I have to clear my cache and cookies, then there are occasions where nothing I do will enable me to continue listening to my book.

This used to be amazing. Then they changed their subscription model. It used to be $9.99/month for access to the whole catalog. Now it's $11.99/month for access to a very limited catalog and 1 unlock. Or $16.99/month for the catalog and 3 unlocks. The unlocks do not roll over month to month. You use the unlocks to gain access to premium titles which are then available to you as long as your subscription is active. And I can guarantee every book you want to read/listen to is locked.
