I personally just started using this app much more consistently and I love it. There are a lot of books and audiobooks to choose from and its interface/menu is very easy to maneuver. I would dock it half a star though because of its lack of options. I don't really listen to audiobooks too often and would rather use that one credit towards a book instead, or for other readers, maybe they prefer more audiobooks a month than books. Other than that, I find this app useful and I have caught up on tons of reading because of it. Would definitely recommend it to avid readers :)
The app is very nice to read... When I read the hackers story I had to know the exact meaning for few words , so I had to switch out from the app to search on Google. That's weird... Also, It always lets me to afraid that to purchase the app.. Providing seamless access to the app would be very Great... Also, Just provide more books to read as a trial...... Everything else looks great to use....Thanks to the team...
I like Scribd. So far the titles made available are enough for me. I love the bookmark and highlight, note-taking function. The new news articles though; seeing more of the front pages could be helpful. The articles are fine but I have no idea how to categorise them in my mind. There's no starting point for me to understand the criteria on how they're picked. BUT I like Scribd and recommend it.
What were you thinking with that absolutely horrible new icon? It's bad. It really is appalling. The original was great and a signature design. But this new icon is so bad and unappealing that I might actually have to hide it from the app drawer and/or edit it with the classic. Come to think of it, this new icon change is reminiscent of the 1980's epic disaster when Coca-Cola ripped off Pepsi with new Coke, angering untold millions of consumers, and eventually dumping the Pepsi taste clone Coke and forcing the reversal back to Coca-Cola and Coca-Cola Classic... on a smaller scale obviously, but the point is that the new icon sucks through and through. Somebody had to say it.
With the newest update, when i click on my Stored Offline it kicks me out to the main screen of my tablet. New layout is awful. Very confusing organization of things like the Scribd Selects. Previous versions were great. These among other changes make the site difficult to use, navigate, and, overall, find anything. Definitely making changes that encourage customers to look at the competitors.
App is Decent but, the new logo looks like a 69 (which doesn't even represent the app). Why couldn't you just attach them together and make an S. It looks hideous.
