Review from Lisa Cox
This is a very good reading app.
Scribd is the best place for me to, not only, get an e-book I like to read; but EVERY book I have ever wanted to read. There are all the classics from Bronte to Twain. Heinlein to Tolkien. Catch22, The Jungle or War and Peace, etc. To current news, bestsellers, audiobooks aplenty, and comics, too. All can be on my "save for later" list, offline reading, or even the manuscripts and documents that have shaped society. For about 10 bucks a month, with all of the perks, it's great to get what you pay for when you choose Scribd.
I'm confused. Your website says "access an unlimited number of books and ebooks" , but now I've signed up, it says "a subscription will get you three books and one audio book monthly." Which is it?
I signed up for a free trial. I cancelled before the free trial was over! You have now charged my credit card 3 months in a row! You guys are commiting fraud! I have went back on there every month and cancelled! I will call my lawyer. I have a screen shot of Everytime I have cancelled! Do NOT sign up for this!
The selection is okay but not great. But for the price you pay, it's still worth it.
Not a very good selection of books. Further, searching yields way too many editions in other languages. That wouldn't be a big deal if there was a way to filter them.
The sheet music & document access interested me years ago but the addition of audiobooks definitely captivates. I'll give 5 stars when the audio library broadens
