Great place for recipe ideas I love the ability to find recipes, and save them in my own list. I think the greatest part is the ability to see the recipe with a video of how its done as well. It helps remove room for error, and shows what everything should look like at each stage. I'm no chef, but my family loves the cooking from what I've found here. The only thing I wish the app had was an ability to make a shopping list and store a list of items I have in my pantry to make it an all in one food prep app.

Great app EXCEPT Constant tech problems. Was working great. Now I Can't open recipes on phone, tablet, or computer website unless I delete all cookies and all my OTHER remembered passwords every time I want to log in. I just attempted again after a month of giving up. Still not working. Sad because there is so much I liked about this app. For one it's free and unlimited space available for recipes which is not the case for other apps. I liked the website design and how easy it was to upload recipes from any where.

Nice...when it works Useful app but 80% of the time it won't open. I go to launch the app and the screen turns black like it's going to open then back to home screen and an error that it's stopped. Sometimes I have to try up to 10 times for it to finally work. It's useful but they need to rotate recipes way more frequently. The recipes in their preset categories don't change so it's hard to find something new if I don't have anything specific in mind to search for.

Excellent app for an excellent channel. You need this app if you want or need a recipe any time, any where all in one place. Maybe you don't know what to make you can take some items and ingredients you have and type them into the search and it will list recipes that you can make even on the fly. You can also find a recipe and it will make a shopping list for you. Just talking about this makes me want to go cook something right now. I used this app on a Samsung Galaxy S5 and now I'm using it on a Galaxy S6 Edge plus and it works great.

Love this app! It's rare that I find a recipe that I don't enjoy and all are incredibly easy to follow. Most ingredients you can find at any local grocery store, although some are a bit exotic. The ratings of each recipe are accurate and reviews are usually helpful. I have only one complaint. You cannot delete a recipe from your recipe box after you have added it. If, for example, you add a recipe and down the road you find a better recipe for the same meal you cannot remove the first. The FAQ says that you can delete through the desktop website, but when you log on, the recipes saved through the app will not appear on the website recipe box. However, recipes saved through the website will appear on your app on any device. Other than that, loving the app and I will not be using any others for quite some time.
Love the recipe box feature! I love being able to keep the recipes I want to try or reference frequently in the Recipe Box. An upgrade to that feature would be "tabs" so a user could organize or categorize their saved recipes. My only criticism is that some recipes are hard to find if you don't remember the exact title of it (sometimes the chef's name is part of the title?!?) and then the search engine returns hundreds of possible matches (some of which are totally unrelated). Otherwise, I really enjoy and utilize this App.

Yum! I've been a pinterest user for awhile and recently got a new phone and had to re download apps that hadn't transferred. This one popped up as a suggestion. Thought I'd give it a shot and so glad I did. Lots of new or different twist on stuff I like to cook regularly. Rachel Ray's southwest Turkey burgers are the best I've ever made or had!
I want to love it, but.... The recipes are great, and Food Network had many of my favorite chefs, so I was really excited to find this app. HOWEVER, every video I've tried to watch has frozen after about 12 seconds! Yes, I can read the recipes and use the other features.. but I like the videos! Please fix this bug so that I can enjoy your app. Otherwise, I will uninstall and use something else.
Good, but "limited." This is a great concept of an app. I love the option of putting the ingredients as a shopping list. However, my biggest issue is the limit of recipes within the categories. For example, in the category of "healthy" (the main reason for me downloading the app), it only shows 60 recipes. Yet the individual chefs have hundreds, sometimes thousands. Once this is corrected, this app will deserve 5 stars. Until then, it falls short.
So useful Was only able to down load via WiFi. Once I opened it I was in love. Very handy. When I can't figure out what to make, I hand it to my kids and say 'pick a picture'. I can also search recipes I can't remember. Its like every cookbook I've ever needed, in my hand wherever I need it! Only improvements would be a 'recipe of the day' option and ability to download over my mobile data plan.
Food Network Star's This Recipe Program is wonderful. It's great if you are in a hurry, not at home and need a recipe, or just want to try something new. Every recipe that I have tried came out great, which is an achievement in itself! I have tried recipes from other sources without good results. Give it a try, you will seriously like it!
It involves food.. it's perfect. No seriously though, I love this app. I love the convenience of looking through all the chef's choices and recipes and just picking what I want to make. The pictures are drool worthy and the recipes themselves are very well explained and detailed :) thumbs up Food Network!
I didnt know the value and simplicity of this app till i tried it. Now i dont have to troll the internet for recipes. They are here in a blink of an eye! Its very easy to use. And i can save thw recipes and print them if i really like them as well as share thwm to any mexia outlet. Very useful app for me.
This is great! I love this app! Recipes at your fingertips. It doesn't get better than that. Easy to find all sorts of stuff and then save for later. I'm new to the app and have used it 5 times already in the past week. Seeing recipes from your favorite chefs is so cool. No more printing!! This app is a must try....you'll won't regret it.
The recipe box doesn't work properly If my wife sends a link to me, specifically "throw away the bread machine instructions", a recipe on the food network, I see it in my browser but if I put that in a search in the app, I get no results, so I can't see it in the app. I am therefore unable to put it in my recipe box. So I signed in on the Web browser. I then saved it in my recipe box through that. Now if I go into my app, my recipe box does NOT contain this recipe. The login is therefore useless. Also I have saved recipes in the past, gone!
Very good; almost delicious app! With a few tweaks here and there this will be a terrific, accessible app. My only problem is having to keep looking up the recipe I'm working on when I have to leave the page to do other things. Maybe I'm missing something? Otherwise I love how easy it is to navigate.
Improve search Found out the long way that if you enter a misspelled word your recipes can't be found. I spelled " Speculaas " wrong and had to look up the correct spelling before it gave me the recipe. Can you please update so that close spellings can be recognized?
Needs sorting The recipes are great and I would give 5 star if you could sort out the videos. They never work, I don't mind going from the instructions but it's always good to listen as you go along when cooking some of the recipes! Please fix this.
Absolutely love it No matter where we go for one of our daughter's feis (Irish Dance Competitions), no matter the city or state, we can always find our favorite places to eat in just seconds. Absolutely love this App and recommend it to anyone who travels for whatever reason. You'll love it just as much as we do....Promise!!!!
What's not to love about this app... I'm a good net work junkie, I watch every day and now I have my children (2 years and 9 years old) loving it as well...they always want to try some of the recipes so now we can.
I'm a better cook Becauae of this app i am a much better cook. Its amazing how many wonderful home cooked meals i have made since i started using this app one year ago. I always refer back to my file of recipes as needed. This has been life changing. Cooking for a young family of 4 while working full time can be stressful but the food network app has increased my confidence in the kitchen. Even my husband admits that i have become a better cook then him.
Deletion Option Great app! Smooth scroll through and reviews on recipes. The only complaint I have is the inability to delete recipes you've favorited from the app itself. Devs if you're reading it's a must have for the moble version. You shouldn't have to log on from a pc to your main site to do so.
Love this app!!! I love choosing different chef's recipes everyday. Also being able to transfer recipes to a box to keep and add to a grocery list makes it so easy. My only critique is that all of the ingredients for a recipe should be up top. Some recipes have two or three different sets of ingredients broken up into different steps for the same recipe making it confusing.
Best App to open in Kitchen! I Love this App. My Hubby is an Iron-Clad, Strict Meat & Potatoes kinda guy, while I love different tastes and dishes from all over the World. I get the very best of both with Food Network. Haven't had a single complaint yet!!
I wish there was a way to have current recipes (like recipes I want to cook this week) and recipes I want to try. Then, the current recipes can be added to the grocery list, and the other recipes wouldn't get mixed up. There is also NO WAY to delete old items off the grocery list, which makes things confusing
App works great... Until I try to log in... I had to uninstall this app a while back. I have now reinstalled it and it was working great for browsing right up until I tried to log in to my recipe box. The screen just sits blank after hitting login. I thought maybe I entered the wrong password, so tried logging in with G+, but only ended with the same result. As soon as I can log in I'm sure I'll love the app again, but 'til then I'm a bit annoyed.
I can't even give it a proper review!! It won't let me in at all, keeps giving me the same error message. (Cannot connect to server). I have downloaded it on many devices and I'm getting the same response! Disappointed so much right now, as I was excited to give this app a try after I seen it on the show 'the kitchen'. You'll get a better review, once I am able to use it.
Exceptional app! I swear by this app. I can now look up the ingredients needed to cook my meal while shopping. It definitely saves time and makes cooking easy. I like that I can make simple hearty down home recipes or high end cuisine just by deciding what ingredients to purchase. Once you try it you'll be hooked.
Great app Very easy to use and it has a simple layout with large font. I would like it more if it would remain in the same place in the text of recipe directions when when my screen locks. When the screen is unlocked it opens where I left off in the directions then goes back to the top every time.
Won't open Shame this app won't open when I try to load it. It simply force closes and says "No Response From Server," I really wish I could read these recipes without having to use my browser, but I suppose I'll have to settle until its fixed. BTW: I'm using an ASUS Tablet.
Does not work Continues to give the error 'cannot connect to server' Uninstalled, re installed, still says the same thing. From the looks of other users they are having similar issues.. Development team should should give instructions or an explanation as to how to fix this issue.
My favorite app!!! With me cooking three meals a day, i need a variety of recipes that wont bored my family with the same dish. And this the best of the best... wish i had known about it sooner! ☺🍰🍦🍕🍖🍗🍤🍔🍟🍓🍅🍊🍏
Video trouble. So far every video says unavailable right now. Get this issue fixed and maybe my rating will improve. Giving it a day or two more before deciding to delete. Have given it time now, still video issues. Deleting!
Great Recipes, Easy to use and understand I've used this app several times and I plan on continuing to use it. I have it on my laptop and my cell. Recipes great if you're just starting out and even refined enough for the for the gournet cook. It's a MUST HAVE!
It wont open *fixed* Every time i go to open it it says no response from server. If this gets fixed, i will edit this review to review the actual app. Samsung galaxy tab 3. *edit* now that its working, i can say that this is an amazing app. Like, just gotta give it a shot.
Awesome It is truly an amazing app. There is something missing. Honestly couldn't tell you what it is. 5/5 because it is great as it is, but something is keeping it from that app I just fall in love with. As a developer myself I have been trying to figure it out. The social aspect is probably what's missing. In a connected world this just doesn't feel "connected". But I'll be damned if this isn't a great app for finding something to eat.
Intrusive permissions Looks like it would have been uswfull except for one thing - This app insists on having access to all your contacts and will not function without it. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!!! Uninstalled.
It's the food network Love that's there pic's with everything. Lots of recipes. Pic the chef. Pick the food your looking to cook. I typed in slow cooker......and boom. There u have it. Great app. And not one of those apps that you use for 20min, and then they ask for upgrade($$$). Great app. And FREE
Love this app! I had to delete another food qpp that has totally lost all its appeal.this app is perfect and meets my needs in the kitchen! I don't have cable TV anymore and im so excited to still be qble to see all my fav cooks!
Recipe box broken Just installed this on my brand new Galaxy S2 Tab and the recipe box doesn't work! Have to continuously login, then it still doesn't recognize me and all my recipes are blank!
