Rife with errors With mobile deposits, you have to click on each option twice and tries to validate deposit without taking photos of check... which, of course, causes the deposit to fail.
Half the time won't read checks Image of check is crystal clear, all 4 corners in picture and it says it cannot read check. You can take the picture over and over and it still says it can't read it. Have no idea how to resubmit a perfectly good clear picture with a picture that is any clearer. This app needs to be overhauled.
Mobile deposit consistently fails Great bank, awful app. Rarely updated and when it is, it seems to get worse. SDCCU's technology is so far below any other banks, they should be embarrassed. Mobile deposit can never seem to photo my checks after this last update, even when they are clearly printed. Extremely frustrating.
Frustrating App Just like most of the other recent reviews say, this app is so awful it physically hurts. I haven't been able to mobile deposit a check for almost a year, and half the time I can't even log in without restarting my phone (or uninstalling and re-installing the app). I've tried on my brand new LG V10 and my boyfriend's iPhone 6S Plus and neither work for mobile deposits. It is so inconvenient and frustrating; I've even decided to switch credit unions to get a more reliable app. This deserves negative stars.
Emailed in part to SDCCU I'm surprised SDCCU doesn't read all the complaints about it's mobile app & the horrendous problems with some of the failing functions, primarily the mobile deposit function. I have complained multiple times to no avail. It used to be one of the best apps after the trial & error period fixed most of the issues. It is now a stressful frustration to use the mobile deposit feature. Unfortunately this credit union is going down hill in my opinion. I was used to the quality service. I will be closing my accts.
Great bank, bad app Lots of bugs, and lag. My bill pay malfunctions at least once a month. The bank is great, but the app needs work
