Truly a remarkable concept and performance. I echo what others have said about the audio being quite compressed sounding and the app itself being quite buggy. I also echo what some have said about reading speed. I'm imagining it would be a very difficult restructuring app to introduce a feature like that, though. With what is clearly a labor of love, I'd rather it exist and be imperfect than otherwise.

See other responses! the quality of the audio is highly dependent on your phone: on most, it seems to sound fine.

This app reviews the General Prologue of the Canterbury Tales on several levels: 1) It provides images of one of the remaining manuscripts of the text. 2) It provides the original text written in a standard font. 3) It reads the text, while providing the appropriate written excerpt in a readable typeface, with the translation into Modern English written below. 4) It provides glosses that can be read on their own or synchronized with the text as it is read aloud. Just fantastic!

Excellent but buggy. I'm very excited about this app, but it has trouble working on my phone, an LG G5 (Verizon) running Android 8.0.0. The sidebar menu is too long and won't scroll. The text view is also usable but too large. I've only had it for a few minutes, so there may be more.
