About this app

Cardiac diagnosis uses a built-in camera to detect blood circulation in the measurement area.

1. Measurement of heart rate and heart rate variability
You can measure the exact number using the built-in camera sensor of your smartphone or tablet.

2. Measurement Category
General Measurement- It measures 20 heartbeats to calculate the number of heartbeats per minute, and arrhythmia is differentiated by calculating the heart rate variability.
Precise measurement - The heart rate is measured for 1 minute to differentiate between heart rate and arrhythmia.
Continuous measurement - Check the heart condition by looking at the graph while continuously measuring.

All measurements are indicated in green for normal, yellow for caution, and red for abnormal.
If red is frequently detected, it is recommended that an electrocardiogram (EKG, ECG) test be performed at a hospital.

3. Results tracking
When the measurement result is saved, the measurement value and screen are saved and history management is possible.

"How to use and precautions"
1. In the heart-shaped view on the measurement screen, find the rear camera where the measurement site is visible, place your fingertips lightly, and click the Start button.
2. Measure while your hands are warm. -> If your hands are cold, blood circulation is not reliable and the measurement value is inaccurate.
3. Do not place your finger on the camera flash.

[Guide to the access rights required to use the heart diagnosis app]

Keep your expectations in line with the Technology used - the camera plus the flash light. I initially got erratic results and was about to give up on it. But considering that no other app could both give a heart beats per minute AND assessments ot arrthimia, bradycardia, tachycardia, and atrial fibrillation, I very much wanted it to work. After much trial and error, I have been able to find some sweet spots of holding the phone while covering camera aperture with a finger 4 repeatable data.

I love this. I use it at least 4 times a day with a pressure cuff and a oximeter. It helps provide me with information and gives me something to show Doctor. It has saved my life once, and I now have a pacemaker. The app itself is easy to use. There are some issues. It is important to get the correct pressure on the camera. If you don't keep it constant, the waveform and the heartbeat won't be correct. I would like to see the final display horizontally with the graph fully expanded for detail.

I would give it zero stars were that possible. Don't use it. The measure is made even when you are not even touching it. If you want a good monitor I suggest you purchase an actual device that bluetooth links and syncs with its matching app. Be sure to find one that is centered toward health monitoring and fitness. If you want reliability and quality then this app is not for you that...nor is it for you. Junk.
