The Interac verification service allows you to securely authenticate yourself by establishing a secure connection with your financial institution. The Interac verification service helps you stay in control by letting you choose when to share your information and with whom.
Customers of BMO, CIBC, Desjardins, RBC, Scotiabank, and TD can use the Interac verification service network. You must have an active and eligible online bank account with one of these financial institutions to enroll in and use the Interac verification service.
The Interac verification service includes strong security protocols to help protect personal information from being identified, accessed, or misused. You will be asked to consent to every transaction. The Interac verification service has no access to your banking information or the credentials you use to log into your financial institution. Your personal information is not stored by Interac.
