the idea for the app is good but the ui needs some work. the map constantly repositions and zooms in/out once an area is selected. this reposition and zoom is performed with a slow animation and is unnecessary. sometimes there is also an animation that zooms in from the continental US all the way back to your city. why? can a user disable all of the animations as an option? also, when using a report there are 2 fields for issue description. why? What's the difference? why is one required and one optional? I do think this app allows residents to give input to the city, and receive feedback very quickly. I just wish the interface was improved.
Keep getting network error when I try to send problemreport. Know it's not on my end. I was redirected to this app by my county's official website which says they use.
This really helps connect residents with City government to report problems. It feels churlish to note that it's hard to navigate and I wasn't totally sure my report was actually summited.
The app has gotten results where my phone call to the city has not. It's easy to use and had become a great plus to the community.
A little bit of a learning curve but it works great, especially with a responsive Public Works Department . They have done a great job on the pitholes.
