Broken by lollipop Game will not load on my nexus 2012 running lollipop. Please update it. I suggest it might be due to the new ART system. It worked OK on KitKat.

Sonic is back... This is the heir to classic sonic. Your first true sequel to sonic 3. Thank you SEGA. The mechanics are great. It seamlessly combines skills used thru out the sonic franchise. The level design on ep 2 is awesome. Graphics look great. Sega, you are doing an excellent job on mobile games. Keep up the good work.

Does not work on shield. Loads, iconic Sega splash theme displays, bombarded with an add to buy the first one and on close a white screen of death appears.

Broken Update on Nexus 7 Latest update ruined the game on my Nexus 7. Guess I will just have to revert to an unofficial version of the game until the paid version works again. Like, replace the OBB files with a backup version of the game to get it working again cuz Sega just wasted my money I spent. Note to self, never buy anything from Sega on Android or iOS because they will mess it up, eventually.
Good graphics and speed. This has awesome graphics for a Sonic game and the speed won't let you down either. My biggest complaint would be the on-screen controls. I don't carry around other controllers to try out while on-the-go but the on-screen controls are too challenging in their own regards at certain points in the game. I've had to try several times to get past certain points without any noticeable difference in the game environment or my controls. I hate wasting ten lives to clear 3 inches of the map that take too much precision to get past with the on-screen controls.
Push notification service is gone in new update :-) New update got rid of the pesky battery draining push notification and most of the lag :-) Now get rid of the Run at Startup permission and this will be a 5 Star game for me :-)
Amazing graphics and game play on my Asus Infinity!! This game looks and plays beautiful!! Running the Sixaxis App and playing this game with my PS3 controller is phenomenal!! Absolutely LOVE this game and highly recommend it to anyone who played Sonic as a child like I did! Graphics are simply mind blowing on my Asus Infinity with its HD display/resolution (which happens to be one of the best, if not the best display on any Android tablet. Also just as good as the ipad 4 display, though I think the colors are even better on the Infinity!! If you haven't seen an Asus Infinity, do yourself a favor and check it out! Best $500 I've spent! Photos taken with my HDR Canon camera even look great when loaded on my Infinity too!!). Overall, probably the best graphics on Android. Looks amazing when I hook my Infinity to my 55" Sony LED TV using the HDMI port on the Infinity! That and my PS3 controller, you'd never guess I was playing using a tablet instead of my PS3!!! AMAZING work Sega! Thank you!!
Sort out frame rate and its a winner I've been playing sonic games since the early 90s and to be honest I've hated every sonic since sonic 3+ sonic and knuckles. This game however has changed my mind. It doesn't feel so much of a rehashing of earlier games like episode 1 does. The good: Looks beautiful, special stages are rehashed from the previous games, but they are so pretty you won't mind. The bad: Frame rate! Please give us the option to reduce the graphics ourselves. Sonic needs high fps!
Terrible controls; beautiful graphics; overall, terrible departure from the Sonic series The game looks beautiful, but that's where the beauty ends. Sonic used to be about speed, and that's the last thing you get from this game. From the clunky controls to the cumbersome stage design better-suited for a handheld system instead of a tablet, everything about this game and its pace is slow and dull. I'm only giving it two stars because it has an aesthetic feel to Sonic's of old, which was nice.
