Ratings and reviews

As far as endless runners go, this is a good one. I've been playing off and on since the additional characters still had blue aura effects. I like how you can play even as lesser used characters like Cream, Blaze, and Big being playable is so funny. If I could give any suggestions, it would be to be able to back up save data to your account. It really bites to have to start over after reinstalling. Luckily, even old event characters are unlockable in later level ups. That's really appreciated.

(EDIT: 5/6/26) Thank you to Sega for the last update, they seem to have addressed the issue with the frame rate that I mentioned last time. Still one of my go-to games, but I have a few nitpicks. Unlocking characters feels a lot more grind-heavy than it was a year ago. Also, Sega seems to be phasing out headstarts, as they can no longer be acquired through the store or the bonus wheel. As someone who relies on headstarts for acquiring characters, I view this as a needless, misguided change. 😒

a simple but fun infinite runner type game. I love Sonic, and the selection of characters is fantastic! my only complaint is that the boss battles are clunky. they come in two phases (as far as ive encountered) which are a "dodge while running" type, and then a "tap the screen when the prompt comes up" type. the latter seems REALLY sensitive, or maybe not sensitive enough, because tapping exactly when the prompt comes up has maybe succeeded 20% of the time for me. could be a skill issue tho.
