SafmViewer is a scientific data visualization application for viewing and analyzing Semilab Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) measurement files directly on Android devices.
The application supports Gwyddion-compatible binary measurement files, including .safm and .gwy formats, and provides convenient access to measurement channels, surface data, graphs, and metadata.
Key features:
• Open Semilab AFM and Gwyddion-compatible measurement files directly from your device.
• Explore available measurement channels and their properties, including resolution, physical dimensions, measurement units, Z range, and associated metadata.
• Visualize two-dimensional AFM surface data as interactive heatmaps.
• Choose from multiple scientific color maps to optimize the visualization of surface features.
• Inspect one-dimensional cross-sections of AFM data by selecting individual scan rows.
• Navigate efficiently through measurement rows and compare corresponding surface profiles.
• Adjust heatmap visualization settings, including color scale, axes, cross-section display, and automatic or custom Z ranges.
• View graph data stored within measurement files using interactive scientific plots.
• Display graph data using linear or logarithmic scales when supported by the measurement data.
• Inspect measurement metadata and copy selected metadata entries to the clipboard.
• Export graph data to TXT format for further processing or analysis using other scientific and engineering tools.
SafmViewer is designed as a lightweight companion tool for engineers, scientists, application specialists, and other users working with Semilab AFM measurement data. It enables measurement results to be inspected conveniently on an Android phone or tablet without requiring a desktop workstation.
The application focuses on measurement data inspection and visualization and does not replace the complete analysis and measurement capabilities of Semilab AFM system software.
