About this app

We leave Santiago - city of the five stars that recorded in stone Fonseca III - in search of doomsday. We tour the 42nd parallel, as did andándolo entire peoples from east to west for thousands of years. Like them, the day will follow the direction of the sun. At night, the light from millions of stars make us the destination. When the land ends and we can not go a step further, we will have at our feet the vast ocean. Beside the sea, the birthplace of stars rediscover who we are, we will feel refreshed and our eyes will be wider.

In FinisTerrae we not have the feeling that something ends. Now start all over again because something has changed, because we change and we have more strength, confidence and security. The world has lengthened and we with é. And that's when we decided to look south.

With the sun setting on our right will pass one of the least known and most beautiful coastlines. Step by step we will open a new path for the path that leads to the cradle of the stars of the Ria de Muros and Noia, also called the Ria da Estrela.

We return to Compostela by the English Way where the adventure ends and we again await the five stars on the shields. Those stars that already accompany you.

With this app you'll lead you down the path and have access to all the resources that we recommend you, let yourself be guided and enjoy.

It is likely that the name Senda das Estrelas not tell you much, but surely already know or have heard Santiago de Compostela and Finisterre, since they are famous for being the final destination of the Camino de Santiago.
These are the two pillars on which rotates the Senda das Estrelas, a project in which we have joined different tourism professionals who live and work in different parts of this wonderful area can offer a different journey through a circular path.

To convince you to come and enjoy it we could tell you about the wonders of Santiago de Compostela, in the Plaza del Obradoiro, Cathedral, Old Town, etc. And how wonderful it is to do the Camino to Finisterre, with space for reflection, self-knowledge, ie, "a journey into oneself" ...

However, what we propose this project is to come to discover and experience them differently, as do the people in the area and recommend it to those who ask us for suggestions, as well as spectacular scenery, we also have a lot of culture local. We have therefore created a circular path, departure and arrival in Santiago de Compostela, with stages return to run inside and along the coast and take you to see where the land ends, place where the sea eats the sun. But we do not want you to see it as a way of sacrifice, our proposal divides the path into short sections, and offers many indoor activities and nature, resting places and places where to enjoy the gastronomy that were specially selected to meet a standard quality according to these premises, because our goal is that you enjoy.

Hiking, relaxation, gastronomy and experiences to live in good company. Explore the layout of each stage, review the eco-friendly advice and decide whether you prefer to live this adventure alone, or with the person you choose.

Make this experience into something special is a matter of organization and trust in our suggestions, so we can only wish you a happy journey to the end of the earth, where we hope you upload energy for the rest of your life.

Happy journey!
