Galaxy Note 4 no WiFi This used to work awesome with my Galaxy S4, but now with my Galaxy Note 4 it doesn't detect anything! And worse there's no way to send feedback or logs to the developer from the app?! Just had another friend with same phone try and doesn't work for him either. Is this app even actively being maintained anymore?
Visually and speed of new map data updates is a major positive compared to OpenSignal. However: - I expected my passive contributions to show up under "My Activity -> Summary -> Contribution Summary", but this is not the case? It seems to only show "Map Trip" activity - Would like to show aggregate of 2G + 3G + 4G coverage for carriers. It's great that we can see 4G and 2G/3G separately, but I want to see if there is any coverage at all from my provider when planning trip routes without having to flip between different maps.
Battery chewing, confusing, no support Lots of battery use, no info on how options might effect that (active vs passive - which uses more?), and no place to ask a question. I would love to contribute data - but not when my battery went to 25% in a few hours.
BEST APP FOR CROWDSOURCING THAT NEEDS A COUPLE MAJOR IMPROVEMENTS Firstly, speedtesting. I am so sick of it picking a server thousand(s) of miles away, sometimes in Canada when I am in the Northeast United States. Secondly, please refresh the UI to comply to material design. Thanks for being a solid service, though.
THE BEST COVERAGE MAPPING APP EVER CONCEIVED!! Hands down, the best coverage mapping app in the Google Play Store! Instead of storing the collected data as worthless files you can't use on your SD card,it uses the GPS to collect the data, and sends it to Sensorly's database for everyone to access.
Excellent! WOW! Great app. I am able to watch Sprint LTE expanding across Orange County, CA. I am also able to add to the coverage database. Using Galaxy Note 2. 2014-03-07 -- Update. After last Sensorly update ping test always fails as part of Speedtest. Sprint Note 2. -- Update 2016-04-28. Now using Sprint Note 5. Working great.
Detect 4G+ (LTE Carrier Aggregation) on some LG and Sony phones
