MyMobileCoverage 1st place, CellMapper 2nd, OpenSignal tied with Sensorly 3rd, RootMetrics distant 4th but getting worse. But we should use all of them at the same time to create evidence carriers can't ignore. Each collects different data needed to see network problems.
Easy to use and looks great! Doesn't use too much battery, and you can set a percentage limit just in case. One of the apps I always install as it helps me keep track of where I have coverage in case I want to shop carriers for better deals. More trustworthy than carrier's maps.
GOODBYE SENSORLY. Signal data is still not showing up for bsnl/cellone in AP/Telangana/Odisha/West Bengal states in india. I have no hopes that you would bother to update Indian Carrier data. So Many Updates and Still no data? Also carriers like vodafone, idea, reliance, etc. are launching 4G in india. Need to consolidate BSNL signals into single category in India. No response from the developer despite multiple requests in here and through website feedback form.
After last update the new swipe features on the map were a bit confusing. Took me a couple weeks to realize the swipe update... Thought the maps were jacked up. ...minus one star for not being able to see other users speed tests
Data hasn't shown up on the map for over a week now. I looked at Details -> Reporting it has said over 5000 messages to send and status says sending for at least the last few days. Seems nothing is being sent to the server.
It's ok, but I really want to see the ability to generate maps of the trips I have recorded and submitted. iOS has this feature, and yet Android users are the ones actually contributing all the data.
