Outstanding Handwriting Recognition While the 7notes app itself is just a good simple notebook, the mazec2 handwriting recognition is best-of-breed. It's easily my favourite way to enter text on a phone screen. If you tried mazec before and found it had faults, try it again. Mistakes in the last version have been rectified, and it seems now to combine the best features of all the earlier incarnations. The interface has been greatly improved too. It's hard to imagine how it could get better than this.

Super remarkable! I'm certain I have never been so impressed with an app before! It is remarkable that this app is capable of accurately interpreting my handwriting even though I myself have difficulty doing so. It's the best of both worlds: I can enjoy the ease and familiarity of writing without having to interpret-or recall-what the HELL I wrote.

Why would you create a keyboard with no shift key? Took off one star for not having a shift key (it has a caps-lock instead), and one for no spacebar. Also took off one star for not integrating with Evernote, Dropbox, Box, Drive, etc. Having an "Export" function is NOT integration. . Update: Would love to have this for ocr, but the awful keyboard makes it not worth the effort. Should fix keyboard, or make it easy to switch to standard Android keyboard.

Incomprehensible. Still. After all these years. I've tried this on & off for years, but it's too idiosyncratic for me to get used to. There are too many buttons with overloaded, unrelated functions, and the instructions use ambiguous terms. Unless you know what you're looking for, you won't find it. Graffiti was the best until Android 5; now it's broken and ignored. Google Handwriting's not ready. Maybe Stylus Beta...

The flow of writing by hand... With my phone, 7notes, and a stylus (personal preference) I'm always ready to write. No more worries about losing (or transcribing) napkins, receipts, and other crumpled pieces of paper. My notes are saved in 7 notes. ♡ When my scribbles are too sloppy for fast OCR I just export to PDF, open in Gimp, and add a text layer. Easy!

Really excellent; great for handwriting This has always been my go-to app for note taking on the iOS (Apple) platform, so when I switched to an Android tablet I was pleased to find 7 notes here as well. It has the best handwriting recognition of the apps I have tried & I wouldn't use anything else.

Thank you for your feedback.
You can export a note to the other external storage by tapping the Android menu > Connect > Send E-mail > Text/Image/PDF/7notes Document. We know the naming is not good. For more question, please post your message in our support site: https://getsatisfaction.com/7notes/

Does a good job. Needs number integration. I used to use ''graffiti'' on my palm PDA. This seems to have a more natural recognition. Does not require special strokes like graffiti. Will recognize both cursive and print 90% for me. One con. I have to switch to keyboard to input numbers, which I frequently do during note taking. A ''one tap'' option for switching to number recognition or an area dedicated to numbers only would give this app 5 stars from me.
Great App but where is the menu I have used this app on an iphone and I was pleased it is available for an Android. It just works. But where oh where is the menu button in the edit screen? I have dropped a star because the help file doesn't tell me how to open the menu options. Not that I can see anyhow. I have it installed on a Samsung S5. OK I have it now. You need to hold down the menu button on the phone. I am an inexperienced Android user. The instructions are not clear for this.

Thank you for your review comment. Please read the manual of your device. The menu button depends on the device. I found the following article:http://www.androidcentral.com/samsung-galaxy-s5-menu-button-hidden -Support team, MetaMoJi Wonderfully developed app! As a writer, I wanted the ability to use my tablet like a notepad. This app transcribes my manuscript to text perfectly! Thank you, Metamoji, for creating such a flawless app! I just wish it wasn't so difficult to find this app in the Play store. More people should know about this amazing app. :-)
I wants Google Translate's handwritting input instead N.B. Try the free version of this app and then try the Google Translate handwritting input option (which doesn't intergrate with any other apps) and you will see the latter is much superior! I purchased this with the intent of handwritting my SMS messages instead of henpecking the virtual keyboard. The handwritting recognition software is just OK. It can't automatically recognise the difference between mixed upper case, lower case and numerals (you need to use a button to manually change when writting each). The most annoying aspect of the recognition software is that it actually does recognise each individually character (most of the time) and displays each character as you type, BUT only shows several predictive text word options, NEVER ALWAYS what I'm actually typing. For example, I might type 3 characters starting with the letter "C" and it recognises each character and displays them, but when I type the 4th character, it predicts I'm writting a word beginning with "G", and ONLY shows several predicted words beginning with "G". Also, it's very cumbersome when you write a whole sentence and want to go back and tweak it. These should be fixed before you pay money for this app.
Still isn't fixed Claimed to have fixed bugs on Xoom, they did not. App unusable as it continually loads set up screen over and over and over. Handwriting recognition is great, too bad the app is worthless on Motorola devices

Could you check the following options on your device?
Settings app -> Developer options -> USER INTERFACE
Nothing should be checked for the UI options.

-Support team This was the first app I Spent $ on and it does what I wanted it to-turns my Galaxy Tab into a Galaxy Note! Sort of. l. wish the handwrting input were a button on the Samsung keyboard, though ,(which is better than the Mazec ) so I could more easily switch to Voice input. But I've got to say, I'm impressed with how well Mazec can read even the SLOPPIEST cursive! My only learning curve is the periods, commas, and spaces. Also. Mazec. how about a"Done"button?
Loved, hated, and fell in love again! First bought to take notes on Asus Transformer infinity pad. Loved it. Then MetaMoji did update in May...hated it passionately. This most recent update? ADORE. Productivity completely restored! Thanks for the fix; I'm lost without this input option. (Using it right now!!)
Could be easier to use. This program is ok, but I wish the keyboard feature was a QWERTY. Also, the handwriting recognition has some setbacks.. if it doesn't recognize a word, you can go with the nearest 'translation' or you can just cut it out. You can't add it to a dictionary or anything. Big hassle. As for the actual notes program, that Definitely needs to be easier to navigate. Still searching for the best app to suit my needs; this one doesn't quite cut it.

We released the update to fix the incompatibility problem on May 28. Please try to install the app again. Thank you for patience. 7notes team. Whose idea was it to move space bar? It was bad enough that it was so small. At least it was on the bottom, like a normal keyboard. I was going to ask you to make it bigger. Now it's SMALLER and on TOP. At least give me a setting choice where I can put it back on the bottom. The app has changed howI work with mytablet. But the keyboard is still clunky. It would be nice if you could associate your own preferred keyboard with the menu button so that it would open instead of the one provided with the app.

I am not sure what the problem is. Could you try to reboot your tablet? For more information, please contact ensupport@@7knowledge.com
-7notes team I like it. This app does a good job recognizing my script and I can`t complain. It does have some quirks like not recognizing some contractions and words, but entering them into the user dictionary solves it for the most part. I wish it had an enter key at the end of the writing space but other than that I think I've found my new way of inputting text. ''Typing" notes into Evernote or another similar note app is going to change for the better.
update On the Samsung Galaxy tab 2 10.1 I'm having problems with the space button as well. It deletes the entire entry. Using the previous suggestion by the developer doesn't seem to help. Great app, but I await another update. Overnight the developer fixed. Great app ! Great service.

Please update the app and try to use it.
Thank you for your patience.
Best regards, 7notes team Amazing handwriting recognition! Got this a couple of months back and had been my default IMO ever since! Thumbs up! Totally recommended! If only you could include gesture shortcuts & better recognition for mixed input, this would be the best!
Fiximtryingtotakenotes!!!! Please fix for Toshiba excite. Every time I space my sentence is deleted!!!!!!! It has worked fine until this afternoon. Please I love this app.

Best regards, 7notes Team Simply Amazing I have looked a long time for a good handwriting recognition solution for Android. The keyboard application that comes with this notepad app does a better job of deciphering my chicken scratch (both block letter and cursive) than anything I've seen.
NEEDS a button for switching input method Works great except once you switch into this input mode there is no way to switch back out without going into my settings (on Nexus 7). I need to be able to quickly switch between this and the stock keyboard as the keyboard this comes with is pretty worthless. 2 stars because it does work, but I really can't use it until this is added. Android keyboard lets you long press the spacebar to bring up input methods - please add something like this.
A Quantum Leap This is the first ever review I've written for an app but 7 Note is just so good that I felt compelled to do so. Especially on my Toshiba tablet but also on Galaxy Note works extraordinarily well. I'm a writer and using a stylus, I can handwrite at almost normal speed and have my scribble convert to text. What's really good is that you can use 7Note as your preferred input in any application. The only improvement I can suggest is to the guide - Just playing with the app, I've discovered techniques which don't get a mention in it. Thanks from a two finger typist!
recognition good, predictive text annoying I use both Graffiti and now 7notes because of its high ratings. I really, really wish I could turn off the predictive text. I find it only gets in the way. I would rather train myself to write properly the first time, and not be looking at suggestions. Other than that, 7notes is the closest I've seen to pocket pc Calligrapher which I loved on my old iPAQ. For now, I actually prefer Graffiti, a stroke-based input.
