Welcome to Sewciable! We're making the sewing & fibre crafts community feel like a community again.

Sewciable is built different, on purpose. We capture the magic of the early days of blogs and social media - before the algorithms, before the influencers and before you became the product. This is a social media platform thoughtfully made for the sewing community that prioritizes connection over clout, learning over likes, and community over celebrities.

We’ve left out all the stuff that makes social media toxic, and kept all the things that help grow real community.

We promise: A chronological feed, No Algorithms and absolutely No Ads. Hashtags that work and sharing of links anywhere you want. We tell you when you've seen everything new - we don't trap you here.

Sewciable is for people who want to share what they're working on, make friends, learn from others, share knowledge and actually enjoy social media again. No viral drama, no engagement bait — just makers being makers. Welcome to a peaceful corner of the internet, where you can connect at your own pace.

How can we promise that you'll never see an ad? Never have your data sold? Never be manipulated by an algorithm? Easy. While other social media channels are funded by selling your attention and your data to advertisers, Sewciable is funded by it's members.

A small low cost monthly subscription is how we can keep the lights on, and guarantee our promises to you. When something is free it's because you are the product – at Sewciable you are never the product. You're part of a real community.

Ratings and reviews

Just downloaded and started exploring and genuinely, I LOVE! 100% a calmer space than instagram, includes a tutorial section to instill that learning community theme, and making photo posts is easy. Would love there to still be a video post option as sometimes its easier to see tutorials by video, but there is a links option so you can always link to insta or YouTube. biggest downside is there's no 1:1 messaging section, or smaller group pages for chatting. £1.80 a month is very reasonable!!

Sewcial is a fabulous app. I love to sew clothing. I really appreciate being able to share what I make *specifically* with others who have the same hobby/skill set. We can talk shop! This app is definitely not for everyone, just those who like to sew, knit, crochet, and being so specific makes it awesome.

Sewciable has all the great parts of the old Instagram. I really enjoy that it is craft focused, has functional hashtags, no ads, no algorithm, option to explore new posts but a feed that will show you what you've missed and has an end so no doom scrolling.
