I bought the premium subscription and logged for over six months, I used it to try and find what my IBS trigger might be. My main issue is that the "Top Suspects" were wildly inaccurate the entire time I had the app. I believe they have some kind of algorithm on top of their correlative calculations of when you ate/drank it vs when you had symptoms, but whatever that algorithm is, it's very bad, and didn't help me at all. A pen and paper food and symptom diary would have been more helpful 🤷

Went to record my first meal and it was not in the database. Ok, I will add it. What A Joke. Adding ingredients is insanely stupid. Copy/paste? Not a chance. Instead you must look up each item in their database. Slogging through 40 entries for Corn is just stupid. No way to filter to "verified" entries means search results may contain vulgarities added by other users, and generally bad data. Sorry I paid for a year subscription based on internet reputation. App is sooo bad.

We’re sorry to hear that your experience was frustrating. Our food database contains millions of foods, and while most users can find what they need, there will inevitably be occasions where a specific item needs to be added manually. If you’d like assistance or would like to discuss your subscription, please contact us at support@mysymptoms.net.

It's a pretty good app. Allows me to track blood pressure, blood glucose levels, meals, drinks, supplements, moods, just about any kind of information for your physical and mental health, including medications. There's a bit of a learning curve, but it would probably be easier for most to use the tutorials and information about the app. I just started using it without any of that. So far, so good!
