Favorite cloud service Each cloud environment does something different. After working with several of them i decided SugarSync was the best for me. I love the fact that you can email items right to your account. The only thing i wish was different is when sharing an item i wish it would just send the attachment instead of sending a link to download the item. I can't access the link from my work due to firewall restrictions. Other than that, love it!
Permanently stopped before a video can be uploaded Very unhappy about this app and none of my videos can be successfully backed up, it always stopped in the middle and the speed is extremely slow. I tried several months but it never improved. When I went to Sugarsync's website for support, I couldn't even find a place to email - worst experience ever! I have to think about switching to other companies. This is the 1st negative review in my life! :-(
A notoriously unreliable service. Files are missing and not up to date even though the desktop app says "All Files Are Synced".....The mobile app hang, crashes all the time regardless of which phone I run it on. I'm locking for something better. People who are giving this service 5 stars are either drunk or just happy to find a free service. I'm a full paying customer who happens to be too lazy to move on, but I will soon.
The Android app is really annoyingly unreliable - change a file on an Android tablet and it never gets updated on the desktop. What the hell good is a sync app that doesn't sync? The only reason it does not get 1 star is because the desktop app is good - if slow.
Be VERY careful about subscribing... The service is ok but downloads are soon slow compared to Dropbox. My biggest gripe is how hard it is to cancel a service (my fathers). You need to phone them during a 4 hour period which is after midnight Australian time. It was easier to cancel his credit card.... VERY DODGY SUGARSYNC!
Can't use Won't upload any of my files keeps crashing. Very annoying
Caution about signing up for this service, they will not respond to support request or cancel account. The down side of autopay is that it is very hard to unhook from a service, and this company makes it difficult, to say the least.
