About this app

Create quick price estimates for your customers with two handy calculators. The ‘Goal Income’ is the amount of money your lawn care team needs to make per hour to stay profitable in business. Use this number in our free calculators to create an estimated price to charge for each job.

Time Calculator
Enter your Goal Income and the number of employees you would use on the job site. Supply the amount of time you will be on site in hours only, minutes only, or hours and minutes. Then, simply press “Calculate” to determine what price you should be charging.

Job Timer
Not sure you’re meeting your time estimates? Start the Job Timer when you reach the worksite. Stop the Job Timer when all your employees are back in the truck. Then hit the record button to save the time data before heading to the next job for the day. You can add a note to each record, such as client name or task name and send yourself an email with all the records at the end of the day.

Area Calculator
If you are able to get to the site physically to measure, are using a GPS measuring tool, or are using a web based measuring service, the area calculator can help you estimate what price you should be charging for a job. First step: select the difficulty of the terrain. Flat soccer fields would be easy while overgrown hillsides with trees, rocks or other obstacles would be complex. Shashime Designs has done research on the amount of area a single employee can accomplish in an hour for each of these terrain difficulty conditions and provided default values. If you know your team better, you may update these values to better reflect your team’s abilities using the edit tool. Next step: enter the Goal Income. You may supply the length and width of the turf area in either feet or meters to calculate the total area or if you already know the total area of the site just enter that value directly. Then, simply press calculate to determine what price you should be charging.

Quote Builder
Unlock Quote Builder to easily add tasks from the Time Calculator, Area Calculator and from the Quote Builder tool itself. This tool is designed to help price a complete job from start to finish by totaling up multiple tasks. Items can be marked as taxable and a tax rate can be specified in the defaults panel. Email yourself all the details of the price quote for your records, by a single click of a button.

Works great. It can be adjusted for your equipments effeciency using the pen icon. I just wish it could scale the price as the yard size increases.

On the Sq. Ft. Calc, in the top right press the pencil button to get a menu for where you can adjust how many square feet your crew can accomplish in an hour. So in your case, consider changing the defaults for easy to 43,000, medium to 34,100 and hard to 28,000 sq ft an hour. If this doesn't help please email me at
