Review from A Google User
Count on missing your song. So slow & loaded down with crap & gimmicks, you'll often miss the song. Used to be good. Now, it sacrifices user convenience to bloatware. Want to ID a song? Get some big block graphic telling you what show you're watching, then make you dig around for the info you wanted. Going more & more with SoundHound & Google's What's this Song app.
It refuses to identify songs anymore As the title, I didn't have this issue before, but now, this is all that it does, not what it's supposed to do. I do hope the next update fixes this, if not, then I'm using SoundHound.
100000 pending shazams Every time I use it lately it tells me it saved my shazam and will tell me when I get back online. Even when I have full signal, even if I'm on wifi. It never tells me what the songs are. I have an increasing number of pending shazams that are never going to be identified :(
What's with the change? Your app has been getting slower day by day. Why are you trying to turn this into some form of social media? The app is to big, it has to many things to load when you open it. We didn't start useing your app for a Facebook stand in. We started using your app because we wanted to know the name of a song on the fly. I don't care what songs my friends have shazamed, I'll find that out on Facebook later tonight I'm sure. Bring back that easy, simple, and fast little app we all fell in love with.
Used to be good, now not so much Used to be infallible...however, haven't been able to get a successful result in the past few months. I don't know if they want people to pay for the upgraded product or click their ads, but Shazam is completely useless lately either way.
Super duper cool I liked shazam until the next update. It's super cool. Please can you fix a download link on shazamed songs. It'll be helpful allot
For older version What's up with the new version. It won't open on my phone keeps on saying Shazam stopped working. Fix it!!!
Auto Shazam is now on Android!
Tap ‘Auto’ on your home screen and Shazam will automatically identify the music playing around you, so you’ll never miss another song - or worry about about tapping each time one comes on. Auto Shazam is especially useful while you’re driving with the radio on, and you want to let Shazam do the work for you. As always, the identified songs will be waiting in your ‘My Shazam’ tab - and it's all battery friendly too!
