Good but annoying restart process The app works well as long as it has been started at least once after each install or update. I've had to stop auto updating Shazam just so I remember to open it before I try to tag the end of a song. It goes through a relatively lengthy startup process that only has to be done once...per update. If it auto updates without you realizing, you may catch a song at the end and miss it if Shazam hadn't been started. It makes the widget kinda useless. Fix the required startup thing.
Holy crap I Just want to identify a song not be buried in bloat This app that I've paid for has become a massively bloated piece of crap. I had to wait 20 seconds for it to load it's "news" before I could identify the song, which I missed because it was 'loading'. The 'free version' seems so much faster.
Tyler C. It would be nice to have the "lyric play" back....and not just reading the full thing all at once
Don't buy! Waste of money. Takes about 10-15 seconds load, by the time song would've finished. No offline tagging support. Better to use the free version. Stupid app does only marketing songs. Doesn't do the one thing for which I paid for it - identifying songs.
SGH-I317 Edited: the restarting the app while on network after updating is annoying. Otherwise it doesn't work if you're out and don't have network/service.
Please Shazam, concentrate on what the App is about; identifying music! I'm getting more and more false positives (maybe add a feature to be able to give this feedback?) and meanwhile I'm distracted by parades, news, recommendations and others stuff I'm really not interested in..
In this release we’re making sure things are working under the hood. We’ve fixed some Android Wear smartwatch bugs, to get our watch users back up and running with Shazam.
Sometimes it’s also good to take a step back and, you know, make things look a little better - so hopefully you’ll spot some nice new animations as you play with this latest update.
