The app does now sync with the website and with other devices. Also the silly stuff about what other people are shazaming is also gone. This is now a 5 star app! no crap and PC access again, brilliant! Would be nice, however, to still be able to delete the song from the website instead of having to go back into your phone. I, like many (most maybe?) use the phone to listen to the song but use the PC to search and downalod the music I shazam, hence I work with the website not the phone app.
When Shazam first started supporting Android Wear, it was awesome. Now, it never works. The song never tags, or lyrics never display. Also, tagging takes FOREVER on my LG G Watch R. But on my phone, Shazam works like a charm. If you're going to support Android Wear, then support it. Stop half-doing it. 5 stars when above issues are fixed.
1) multi window is supported on the free version however not on the paid version 2) Google Now integration " Shazam this song" doesn't work on paid version. 3) I've had a few times the app claiming I have no Internet connection although I have. 4) doesn't sync along other Shazam on other devices despite info saying it should. Simply put I've never seen the free version of an App having more features and is more solidly built than the paid. Disgraceful! !! You should have 1 app and this needs to be a licence
Considering this was the premium version of the app, I still can't do what it advertises and ask Google to Shazam a song So I guess that's false advertising! I emailed sept last year and was told keep checking for updates but still it doesn't work. And I emailed August this year but had no reply! Disappointing from a really good app
So nice to have, quickly recognizes songs and automatically adds them to my Spotify playlist. They have fixed the problem with it running as a main process even when closed out, so 5 stars
Here's how it usually goes with Shazam: I hear a song I want to tag, I open Shazam and am forced to go through a setup process unexpectedly after they update the app, song ends without me able to tag it. Who is the genius who decided that users need to set up the app again every time dev clowns update it? Blatantly idiotic development decision.
Now you can scan Shazam Codes with your camera. Codes? What?! Tap the camera icon on your Shazam home screen to learn more!
Android Nougat user? Just press firmly on the Shazam app icon, and you’ll have a shortcut to start Shazaming immediately—so you can now name that tune in one less tap.
