App works well and recognizes songs fast. Sadly only through speakers and not directly from your phones soundcard like the older version of Shazam once was able to. Would be great if recognizing sounds directly would come back again. Like when you are listening radio with headphones and want the name of the song playing without having to put off the headphones.
What the f**k I've paid for no adds so how dare you throw adds on me when I'm reading lyrics! GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK YOU GREEDY B*****D'S!
I've been using this for years. Nice and quick but struggles with rarer house and techno records. It's still a solid app and I like the auto-Shazam feature that'll automatically tag the songs from your evening. :) UPDATE Dec 2017 It's appallingly bad at identifying remixes. There should be an option to tell the app it's tagged the wrong song and to try a longer snippet. With all music now being digital with its own unique signature there's simply no excuse for Shazam to be this bad at remixes. I'm still glad to have it but it's nearly useless at catching things I listen to a lot of the time.
I paid for it but I can't use it. When I try to open it it says "No apps can perform this action". The free version with ads works just fine. Please fix this!
Will application is nice and gone be missing as apple set to buy this company out next week . that likely pull andriod support away too. People been saying futures are gone from the app.
Able to track songs playing in background on TV shows and films despite the dialogues, in bad quality noisy environments, with just few seconds of samples... Sci fiction in current times
Running low on storage space? Great news: Shazam went on a diet, and we're almost 10MB lighter!
Do you know about Auto Shazam? When you long-press the Shazam button on the home screen, you can trigger Auto Shazam - which automatically identifies the music playing around you without the need to tap every time you hear a song. You'll know instantly what's playing by looking at your notifications.
