Used to be one of the best apps I originally gave this app a good review, but over the last few months I have changed my opinion. It rarely accepts receipts first time and I have had to submit some receipts up to 4 times. I even deleted the app and reinstalled it as I thought it was my phone that was the problem, but I now have a new phone. Sometimes I have thrown the receipt away before I get a message through to resnap, I know, my fault. I never have this problem with other cash back apps.
Update stopped it scanning receipts Since I updated the app Shopitize now sends an error message every time I try to take the photo of the receipt that the app has stopped working on my Sony Experia. This is no good! Previously I regularly had the robot not recognise items and I had hoped the update had solved this - instead I cannot upload anything! Waste of time trying to get the cash back at the moment.
I love this app.lots issues uploading Seriously every penny helps. I use every week and do my new shop on a wed or thur and try to see what offers are on to save me cash.i do wish a larger varity off offers. Mostly its only 2-3 offers i can use.always milk and shower gel.but some items would last me months.like shower.being only two in my house.regular buying items are good.never gona suit everyone.i wish users could like a item they use alot and hope to see the like items more often and finally it maybe more suited to the individual app user.
Version 3.4 seriously sucks! Crashes all the time, real pain in the backside. Haven't lost any money yet, but I bet the customer support team aren't sleeping much. Previous version of the app was working fine, so really wish I hadn't updated it. I only joined Google Plus so I could warn anyone sensible enough to check the ratings before updating.
Good but too many software issues! Latest Android has too many issues to make it worth your while. Freezes and doesn't record receipt when taking picture. Sort out the numerous glitches if you want good feedback!
Its stopped working All worked beautifully and all of a sudden it doesn't work with my Samsung Galaxy S3. Tried to make a new account for another person on their phone (same model) and get same error. Its been almost 4 weeks and not sorted. Think Shopitize has died for me :-(
- Fixed incompatibility issues with receipt upload for certain devices (specifically Samsung S6 models).
- You can now hide receipts from your activity list (and reveal them again).
- Available retailers are now listed within the specific offer details screen.
- How to request your receipts to be reviewed by customer services is now more prominent.
