About this game

Anime City combines gameplay of a survival simulator and classic anime visual novels. You will have to study in a Japanese high school, engage in after school activities, and try to make new friends.

Features:
* Anime Culture: The game is focused on anime culture and aesthetics, authentically recreating building designs, clothes, food, activities, and other essential elements of anime and manga about school life.
* School and Clubs: In addition to attending regular school classes (history, physical education, Japanese language, cooking) you can join one of after school clubs (gardening, tennis, drama, science, music) and perform tasks assigned by club leaders.
* Friendship: You can improve your relationships with your classmates and other characters by spending time together and inviting them to club events.
* Skills: Your character's skills (fashion, cooking, science, sports, social, gardening, faith, arts) affect your personal stats, and your success of interactions with other characters. Improving these skills will require engaging in school activities or after-school clubs.
* Customization: You can start to play as a girl or a boy, with a range of parameters to customize, and 20+ equipment slots for clothes and accessories. You can also set up various furniture and decorations in your apartment.
* Survival Simulator: Your character has health, hunger, thirst, energy, and comfort stats. During the game, you'll have to balance limited resources and take care of your character's needs.

Ratings and reviews

i really do WANT to like this game... but it's just too confusing and there's no English label on any of the items so I have no clue what I'm grabbing until I've already spent money. Loli undertones, use of ai, and you don't really understand anything until your 5th or 6th playthrough. If you want to decorate your apartment, customize your character, it costs you WAY too much money! The convenience store job sucks horribly and EVERYTHING stresses you out !! Really upset about this. ;-;

The game is absolutely amazing, the graphics and designs are really nice, however I feel like we should have more variety of clothes for both boy and girl and specially long pants for girls, also a feature to control the weather and if possible a new location for free players. Also an art club since there is an art room but no art club.

Though the mechanics are sometimes a bit confusing, I like the game, really. But the AI usage just ruins the experience for me, I generally prefer human made artwork for the art/posters/book covers than Ai in games, but I know that the game is far from finished, so I hope more updates come out and perhaps changes in the artwork but that's all I have to say. :P
