The app plays video well and the interface is reasonably easy to use. The Chromecast support is terrible. If you pause on your phone, the TV pauses but the show counter keeps going so you can't play from where you left off. Once an episode completes, you have to disconnect the app from your Chromecast and reconnect before you can play the next episode.
This Service is a failure... I don'tknow why I need to install this app on Android in order to complete a Device Activation. I also don't understand the point of being forced to create an account. HBO's offering and setup is so much simpler.
Blown away by how bad this app has gotten. Can't pause a show and resume it without first disconnecting from Chromecast. Clicking on the Chromecast button sends me back to the show currently playing. What was once a decent app has become just awful. Figure it out.
Dont like this app. Eventhough its free through your tv provider it doesnt work well with smart tv or fire tv. It has ONLY one way to activate a device, which is through the app, and so far i havent been able to activate any even using my computer. No matter how many codes i try it always says code not found. The only way i can watch anything is on my android phone, which is not my preference. The only reason i even downloaded it was bc it was the ONLY way to activate my tv and still it didnt let me. Dont want to be stuck having to look at a little screen. If it would work on the app through the tv id give it a better rating.
Please Help!! I'm trying to login and it says I'm at the max users allowed. No one has access to my account but me. What can be happening?
Was required to download this mobile app just to activate the app my Xbox One. No other network does this.
