Audio quality is horrendous Watched Shameless seasons 1-6 on Netflix recently and I noticed season 7 just aired. Thought I would try this app out to watch it since Netflix probably won't get the series for quite a while but it looks like I'll just have to wait. The audio is terrible compared to Netflix or even HBOGO. Even playing the sound through my phone speakers I could notice a sharp difference and this contrast was just magnified once I used my headphones.
Horrible, tried everything suggested on their help center to set it up, nothing works. It says to log in and click first time user...doesn't work. It says to do many things, nothing works. I assume since I already pay for it through cable, they don't make it a priority to get those users on. They make it very easy for new subscribers since the screen to enter a credit card is easily attainable and I keep being routed there. Definitely looking to make money off of new subscribers instead of helping current ones.
Won't let me log into my provider. It just takes me to a blank screen. Please advise. UPDATE : I figured out the problem after Showtime support never responded even after I gave them the info they asked me for...anyway, for Android devices, you need to make sure you have the latest updated version of Android System WebView...it's an app that allows internet content to show up within an app, in this case, the sign-in page for your TV provider...mine was AT&T Uverse. You can access Android System WebView in Google Play if you don't already have it...I had not updated it to the latest version.
Unable to activate the Showtime app on my Xbox because I'm not able to login in to my provider (DirecTV) to enter the code. Every other provider's (DISH, Verizon, Cox, etc.) login page loaded up with no problem except DirecTV. This is the second time this has happen even after uninstalling and re-installing the app. Never have issues with HBO, STARZ and even FXNOW.
I have Time Warner Cable & superfast internet connection speed, but even at home, your app buffers & freezes. I have HBO GO, Hulu Netflix and FX on my tablet & those apps work great, so it is not my internet connection or my tablet, but your lousy app. Also, on Sundays when new episodes of Homeland and The Affair are released, your servers cannot handle the bandwidth of all the internet viewers logging on to watch the shows. The app buffers and then just fails. Horrible expensive service. U SUCK, VIACOM!
Can't log in I don't actually know if this app is any good or not bc when I select Directv as my provider, so I can log in and use the app, it doesn't do anything. Just sits there with a blank screen.
