This app STILL requires the primary account holder for the cable subscription to sign in before you can use it on your own phone. No other app I've ever used has required this and it is frankly ridiculous. Guess I will just illegally download the show I want to watch since my father-in-law is not comfortable signing into his primary account on my phone (which is understandable since he SHOULDN'T HAVE TO.)
Update helped but I still have a problem with playback. After 25-30min of watching the video becomes choppy.. It becomes unwatchable if I don't close the app completely. I don't have this problem watching it via web browser, just the app. This is the only streaming app that gives me problems; Vudu, Netflix, Amazon prime, and YouTube , all nice and smooth video.
It would be better if it would allow me to cast to my SAMSUNG smart TV!!! Also, it seems like every few days I have to re log in again, even if it's on my private phone, it never seems to remember my username and password. Also, this app will be better if it remember what show I was last watching, and where I left off on a show, or a series.... The quality of the video is good. But,... the app can definitely use improvements !!
After latest update, app is constantly running in background and sapping resources. When will these low life, ignorant developers learn that their apps should not be running, unless we're using them. Especially a streaming app. If I'm not watching a show or movie, don't steal resources from my device and don't design your app to autostart. And no, I don't need to do troubleshooting with you. If you truly want to help, as I already said, stop the app from autostarting and running in the background when not in use. Otherwise, stop with your foolish replies.
I play this app on a POS 5 or 6 year old Asus tablet that's only good for watching TV and sometimes struggles with that, so I was nervous after reading the reviews. However, it works great for me. Pause and resume works. I never had it constantly buffering, even when at the farthest away point from the WiFi. I like it, it's better than watching on the Xfinity app. That's a low bar to set, I know :)
Basically sucks you can't resume and video quality sucks no matter if you have unlimited data plan. I can't watch a movie without buffing every two minutes, you would think that the developers would get it. right by now, maybe you should consult with your competitors to see how you can improve and fix the problems. So as of now I only rate this app 1 star even though I'd like to give it a 0 but I'll rate it a 1 for effort
