The App is part of an IOT watering/monitoring system for your garden based on the moisture level in your soil. The IOT micro-controller is an arduino MKR1000 using the carriots.com database for storing and retrieving the data, the app allows you to adjust the settings and thresholds for the system. There are 4 settings that can currently be adjusted(more coming soon), the Low and High moisture thresholds, the pump/relay on time and the time the pump/relay will cool down before running again.
LOW: a reading of 225-250 is the moisture level in air, it very dry for a plant, a reading of
360 is a good starting point for dry soil.
HIGH: a reading of 525-550 is the moisture level in water, rather wet for a plant, a reading of 420-460 is pretty saturated for soil, but will vary depending on soil type.
Pump On Timer: this is the time the relay will be on(opening a valve or turning on a pump)
Pump Cool Down Timer: this is the time the relay is off, even if level is below the HIGH setting. This timer is to give the soil time to absorb the water and determine if it the watering should continue or not.
