What I like about Amaze Browser is that it is able to support online web video casting to Chromecast. Importantly, it allows user to hit the play button for the build-in media detection to detect online web video links. This allows user to pause play and re-select the highest online video 720p/1080p quality that is available for media detection for higher quality video on the media list for casting. It would even be better with auto detection to force play always in highest quality when there is 720p/1080p, rather than play it in 480p. For Ad blocking it is not so effective. There are still pop up ad tab. As for regular browsing, I find page loading is not as speedy as I wanted it to be. It still lags for most sites tested. For regular browsing, I use Firefox for Android which is significantly faster in loading web sites. Amaze Browser - good for web video casting, good media list, dark theme, ad blocking and web sites or page loading needs to improve for speed. Tested on Moto Z Play - Android 7 OS.
Terrific work put into this app! One thing that bugged me was: if we download images from bubble mode, it doesn't save at all. Please fix this! Flyperlink and Flynx had the ability to download images from bubble mode itself. I quit those apps and chose yours cause of the interface and the media playing.
great browser..u guys are putting a lot of effort I can see...love u guys..still one thing though..naming the video file. it captures the video with right name but when download with built in amaze downloader it fails to show the correct name of the file it just shows videoplayback mp4 stuff. I usually use uc browser to download and it can name the file correctly. so I don't have to bother naming every file I download..if amaze can name with the same name it captures except naming it videoplayback then at least for me amaze would be my go to browser
Hi devs thank you for your hard work. Whenever I'm in the bubble mode, and i try to download something, it'll open the downloader dialog window and then say there's no available thingy for this action. So I'm forced to leave the bubble mode ;--; Also, can you do an update where you can have the option of selecting bubble mode so every time i launch this it will be in bubble mode right away? Zomg. That'll complete my life.
No multiple select, bookmark or open in background, in history view. In built media detection and adblock make for novelty but the earlier can really break experience. Switching apps for just a second kills all tabs and cannot be easily restored as although history does not overwrite, it also does not remember scroll position. EDIT: Wasnt requesting for phonecalls but asking why review questions related to them, when this is a browser.
This handles streaming video infinitely better than Chrome and the bubble function is perfect for people who like to load up a bunch of links to come back to over the course of the day. If there was a PC version with Cloud syncing I'd uninstall Chrome from all of my devices once and for all.
