I can't connect with a password. The device appears in finder. I put in my username and password, but I get the message: "The version of the server you are trying to connect to is not supported". However if I select "allow guest users" and connect as a guest, then it works and I can see all my files. I'm running Yosemite 10.10.1 and Android 5.0.2
It works but It works fine on Snow Leopard, but it doesn't show external card. Android Lollipop Motorola g2.
It works! It lets me browse the files on my phone from my computer as though it was any ordinary attached drive. I like the full integration with the Mac OS. However it only works when I enable guest accounts. I wish it would work with the username and password option, as I only I am able to use it on my home network otherwise anyone could connect. It gets 5 stars when authenticated user connections are working.
Do Not See Phone Under "Devices" In Finder Set up username, password, and made sure that my device is on the same wifi network as my Macbook Air. Using Yosemite 10.10. Please Advise
Bug on Mavericks Installed. Setup. Connection process never completes... just the spinner and "Connecting..." message.
Works great File transfer to the device feels a bit slow, but integration with Yosemite is seamless
