The interface leaves something to be desired, but it does work after messing with the settings. It works with the Galaxy S5 stock player, but only after changing the setting to "other players".
The only App on non rooted phones that does this This app is very important to me and it seems to be unique on non rooted devices. It has 2 bugs: a delay at first when you haven't triggered it for a while & second when triggered max Volume is Full-2 you have to turn screen on to max it again - a bit annoying but worth the gain. Plus it DOES WORK in Spotify as well! Just put"other players" and "alternative mode". On rooted phones there is an "app" that's named Xposed with which you can download modules like XBlast <this does the same without any bugs!
Does what it promise, great for non-rooted devices There is only one little problem, if you have an Intl. device (EU),you'll get at some point a "safe volume warning" as a little pop-up when you raise your volume high enough. When this warning comes up, the volume+ button and it's associated command don't work anymore. As a workaround you just lower your volume by two steps and the volume+ command should work again.
Does exactly what it promises. I'm a little disappointed that the hold-to-skip functionality isn't available without root, but that's in no way the author's fault. It works very well and has a simple and straightforward interface. Very nice app!
Props for this app! Though currently uninstalled it cause it doesnt work well with marshmallow. I give props to the author for taking his time to write this app for free. Despice the lazyness of the poweramp programmer for not including nativelly this usefull function.
It is great It is good i thought it didnt work but when i turned my phone off then it work.but one thing can you make 3 clicks on the volume + button make the music stop please👍.great app
